Thank God I heard I was given the Hall of Fame. I kind of lost connection. I was kind of calm. I did hear I was given the Hall of Fame. And we're here today.
00:53I always see the alumni and all the special people back here, but all the alumni throughout
01:02the years.
01:03The Stanley Cup team team team, that was unbelievable last night, seeing them last year in a 50-year
01:10reunion, that was incredible.
01:14I've got so many people to thank, you know, management, Clark Kent, Homer, Ham, Ham, you
01:24guys were here for both my stints, it's, you know, it's, you know, obviously when Clark Kent
01:31traded back for me, it was one of the best days for me, and we had a great fight here around
01:36now, just about got the jobs out.
01:39All the coaches that I had here, I can't thank them enough, there's nothing, you know,
01:46you can't do it without them, they push you the right way, they, you know, they're mad at
01:51you, they're happy at you, and, you know, I'm on that side of the table now, so I get it.
01:58All the trainers, we had some amazing trainers, I know Turkey Rock, a couple that were in my
02:05mainstays, like both stints as well, so thank you guys, all the PR, all the staff members,
02:12everybody, all the volunteers in this building, I still see people I know from back in the
02:18day, and it's just incredible, I mean, it's what it is, it's family, and they're flyers,
02:23they're flyers, and, you know, they're, you know, flyers for life.
02:36Obviously you can't do it without your family, I've got my beautiful wife Kim, I've got my
02:41four children here, two on here, I've got my princess Christina, Cammy, Bella and Samantha,
02:46and then Austin, or Bella and Brendan, Austin and Samantha couldn't be here, but, um, I'd
02:54like to say just something real quick, my two oldest children lost their popper last night,
02:59and, uh, I can't thank them enough for coming this morning, I got jumped on a flight to get
03:04here to be with me to share this special thing, so, I can't thank you enough for that.
03:09Uh, my parents couldn't be here, but, you know, as any people say, you can't do anything
03:21without them, they're the number one friends, they're the number one supporters, um, I'm
03:26sad they couldn't be here, but, you know, it's a long ways from the counties, and it's a long
03:30haul for them, and, but, uh, I know they're here, they're here at heart, and, um, you know,
03:35and my three brothers as well, um, they were my biggest supporters, my biggest fans, my
03:40biggest, uh, competitors growing up, so, um, I could never do it without them.
03:53I've got some amazing friends along the way, uh, most of them are up on a suite, a couple
03:57of them will hope they're drinking some cocktails right now, having some fun, but, yeah, I'll be
04:03up there soon, okay, don't worry, so, um, uh, really appreciate all your friendship over
04:09the year, and, uh, you know, you've always been, you've had my back, and I truly appreciate
04:15it, and, uh, we're gonna have some fun tonight, today and tonight, watching a great game today.
04:20I'd like to thank the Flyers players for coming out here, that's, that's pretty cool, I know
04:32I've got a game to play, and, uh, they got a big one today, and, um, I'm working on another
04:37team, but they've kicked our butt a few times, so I hope they do it to Boston today.
04:42So, last night, we got to play a long night game, which was incredible, um, had a blast
04:56with it, uh, got on the bench, and in the dressing room, and, uh, memories started flooding
05:02back, and, uh, you know, you get on the bench, and you've got Jonesy ripping people, you've
05:09got the Chief, uh, you know, Macon Jones, Bundy, and, you know, John McClendon, Eric, and,
05:14uh, you know, the guys, and just, those memories just flooded back, like, how close we became
05:20as a team. We had some unbelievable years, uh, we didn't quite get the job done, but, we got
05:26to the semis twice, and made a couple of great runs, and, but I always forget, I always
05:32remember those team teams, because we were so tight. We were incredibly tight, we, I missed
05:37the hot stove, uh, after games, having a few beers together, um, you know, I used to, I
05:44used to ride down the ring with, uh, Robert Asch, and you'd think he's this, you know, hard
05:49guy, and if he wants to listen to Elton Jones before the, before the games, I'm like, wow,
05:54I was expecting a CBC, I can't help as well, but, but, you know, my teammates, uh, that
06:02I've had here throughout the years were, you know, unbelievable, and, you know, you can't
06:07deal without them, they're, they're your heartbeats, and they're, they're beside you,
06:11you're going through the trenches with them, and I can't thank all of them enough for all
06:15of their support and their help, and, you know, I appreciate every hand of it.
06:24Obviously, you can't meet without talking about Mr. Snyder. Um, very fortunate to have
06:41known her, we all were, that we, uh, known her like that. It was family. It was everything
