00:01Well, let's start with hockey where the Devils lost a game one to the Carolina Hurricanes last night.
00:06Five to one.
00:07Coincidentally, that was the same score the Devils lost to the Rangers in game one of last series.
00:13So maybe it's a weird and good sign.
00:16You know, not a reason to panic, at least.
00:18You can say that, though.
00:19The Hurricanes looked excellent.
00:21They looked very fast.
00:22But was not surprised that the Devils would be a little bit flat because that series, you know,
00:27you win a game seven in your home building against your rival, your geographic rival.
00:33It's going to be emotionally draining.
00:35And I think you're going to be a little bit flat for the next game.
00:37They came out tired, man.
00:39No question they came out tired.
00:40It would be nice had the game seven lift would have stuck around.
00:44But clearly the rested Carolina Hurricane brought it.
00:48Just a little bit drained for game one.
00:51But game two is Friday night at eight o'clock.
00:54And hopefully the Devils can rebound.
00:56Also, the Las Vegas Golden Knights took down the Edmonton Oilers six to four.
01:01Basketball, the 76ers were crushed by the Celtics last night in game two of their semifinal matchup.

01:09As that series is now tied up at one game apiece.
01:13Jalen Brown led the way for Boston with 25 points.

01:21Joel Embiid was named the NBA MVP yesterday after his fantastic season in which he averaged 30 points and 10 rebounds a game.

01:36As far as the Knicks go, they next play on Saturday when they take on the Heat for game three of their semifinal series.
01:45That is all tied up at one game apiece.
01:47Knicks coming off a game two win in which they look good.
01:50So hopefully they can continue that momentum.
01:52My fingers are crossed for that.
01:54That's for me, I'm sure.
01:55The only thing about the Knicks is like, man, that's a lot of time.
01:57I mean, the game was Monday or Tuesday.

02:21But once you start playing, they want you to continue to play because otherwise, if there's too much of a break, it gets even tighter.

02:34Baseball, the Yankees took down the Guardians in extra innings last night.
02:374-3, Yankee catcher Jose Trevino got the game-winning hit in the bottom of the 10th, as the Yanks have won two in a row.
02:45The Mets were swept in a doubleheader by the Tigers yesterday.
02:48Mets were defeated by Detroit in game one, 6-5.
02:51And then the Mets lost to the Tigers in game two, 8-1.
02:55The Phillies fell to the Dodgers, 10-6.
02:57Finally, football, the Jets announced that they have signed former Packer.
03:00And Aaron Rodgers' buddy, wide receiver Randle Cobb, good wide receiver right there.
