03:49The Eagles have surprisingly hired Matt Patricia
03:52as a senior defensive assistant.
03:54This guy's a much derided former head coach of the Detroit Lions
03:58where he had a lot of failure and got booted.
04:00Then he went to the New England Patriots last year
04:03under Bill Belichick, called the offense,
04:06and the Patriots fans hated him.
04:08Now the Eagles are hiring this guy.
04:11Oh, yeah.
04:11I feel he's going to really love him.
04:13Because, yeah, Nick Sirianni is his friend.
04:15And I've got to tell you, I don't know if this is a great hire
04:18by the Eagles because Matt Patricia is a bit of a controversial guy.
04:22So who knows?
04:24He's complaining to the Giants' favor as the season begins.
