00:00All right, Dave Sports, what are we looking at?
00:01Okay, well, baseball was a tough game for the Yankees last night in Toronto,
00:07as Garrett Cole was excellent, but the Yankees' offense was a no-show.
00:12Yanks lost to the Blue Jays 3-0.
00:14Cole threw seven shutout innings, striking out six,
00:18but the Yankees couldn't hit it in the bottom of the 10th.
00:22Yankee reliever Wandi Peralta gave up a walk-off game,
00:26winning home run to the Blue Jays' Danny Jensen,
00:28and that was that.
00:30Yanks fall to 25-20, and yeah, they're a little bit of chirping,
00:33a little finger-pointing throughout the game.
00:35There's now some pitches towards both teams' heads and stuff like that.
00:42Oh, that ain't cool.
00:43We're seeing a lot of fallout.
00:45This is becoming a very, very intense rivalry right before our eyes,
00:50just like I was saying, kind of reminiscent of the late 70s
00:53through the early to mid-80s.
00:55Yankees-Blue Jays was a really good rivalry.
00:57So now that they've accused Aaron Judge of cheating.
01:02It's just ridiculous, by the way.
01:03It seems kind of stupid.
01:05It's ridiculous to literally everyone in baseball besides the people in Toronto.
01:10Everyone else.
01:11I mean, I'm including Boston Red Sox and Mets fans who have said,
01:15look, Judge is a class act.
01:17He's not cheating.
01:18He's 6'9".
01:19He hit 62 home runs last year.
01:21Nevertheless, they're sticking to it.
01:23They're being, you know, they're being jerks over there in Toronto.
01:27So that's fine.
01:29This should motivate the Yankees to beat the Blue Jays.
01:32Kick their ass.
01:32Yeah.
01:33That's what it should do.
01:34So it's a good rivalry as the AL East is great this year.
01:37Every single team in the AL East is over 500.
01:41That's the only division in baseball that can say that.
01:44Meanwhile, the Mets took down the Tampa Bay Rays in exciting fashion, 8-7,
01:49as Mets superstar Pete Alonzo slugged a three-run home run in the bottom of the 10th
01:55to win the game for the Mets as he walked it off.
01:58And the Mets improved to 21-23.
02:01Phillies fell to the Giants 7-4.
02:04Phils are now 20-23.
02:06Back to the Yankees for a second.
02:08The Yankees starter Domingo Herman has been suspended 10 games.
02:12Fined by Major League Baseball for violating the rules regarding foreign substances.
02:17This is because Herman was ejected in the fourth inning of Tuesday's game
02:21after the umpire ruled that his hand was too sticky.
02:25Didn't that happen to someone on the Mets?
02:27Yes, that happened to Scherzer.
02:28It's been happening to multiple guys.
02:30You know, you've got to make sure your hands aren't sticky.
02:32They're crazy about the stickiness.
02:34Trying to crack down on that.
02:35Yeah, so you've just got to make sure.
02:37Usually the ump warns the guy and says,
02:39wash your hands.
02:40And then if you go, you know, you've got to wash your hands.
02:43And if you come back and they're still sticky,
02:45then the umpire throws you out.
02:47Basketball, the Eastern Conference Finals
02:49between the Boston Celtics and Miami Heat
02:52tipped off last night.
02:54And the Heat took down the Celtics in Game 1.

02:58Miami's Jimmy Butler, excellent as usual.
03:02Butler had 35 points, 7 assists, and 6 steals
03:06in the game as the Heat take a one-game-to-none lead.
03:09And I also think, for the record,
03:11Jimmy Butler looks like Jamie Foxx.
03:13I know it's got nothing to do with sports
03:15or the sports report, but I'm throwing it out there.
