Texas Rangers president of baseball operations Chris Young joined the GBAG Nation after the team's series loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers to talk about if the team is looking at potential changes to the lineup, how Tyler Mahle has gotten off to such a good start this year, pulling for Joc Pederson through his extended slump, and more.

00:00when do you look to maybe make a change i mean would lead off be be a consideration i think

00:20that's a question we get asked a lot like we would love to see why at langford in the lead

00:23off spot you know i think about you in all aspects of of ways we can get these guys going and lineup

00:32construction is a big part of that and so i think that we are going to really talk about different

00:36ways we can position these guys within the lineup to succeed and the way we've been going about it

00:43the last you know the first few weeks of the season hasn't necessarily produced the the runs at

00:47the level that we're expecting so boch and i've had those conversations uh the the hitting coaches

00:53have been involved and um we are very open to making some adjustments here uh just trying to

00:58spark um the offense and get them going and uh it doesn't mean like again that we don't have

01:02confidence in these guys it just means that when we're not performing we need to be um fluid and

01:07make some some changes that are going to get these guys uh producing at the level that we expect
