Wild Times at the San Diego Zoo

Con la visión estimada a ser 8 veces más de la humanidad, nada se pierde pasto este hombre.
00:07
Russi aquí es un American Kestrel.
00:10
Ahora, he may be one of the smallest members of the falcon family, pero él es muy fuerte.
00:16
Su sleek y lean physique, combined con strong talons, a hook beak, y thin, pointed wings,
00:21
allows him to swiftly capture and consume his prey.
00:25
The American Kestrel is widely recognized as one of the most beautiful species of falcon.
00:30
Not all falcons are lucky enough to don such a striking pattern and combination of feather colors.
00:35
The males have bluish-gray feathers on their heads and wings,
00:38
the contrast with the chestnut brown and black feathers on their backs and tails.
00:44
As beautiful as these patterns are, they're almost impossible to distinguish
00:48
as the Kestrel is moving swiftly through the air in search of his prey.
00:52
While Russi certainly is a fast flyer,
00:56
he isn't the fastest flyer here at San Diego Zoo Safari Park.
00:59
And since our keepers are keen to show you a falcon in action,
01:02
we thought we'd bring out the quickest.
01:04
Introducing Bakura, the Lanner Falcon.
01:07
This girl can soup at speeds of more than 200 miles per hour.
01:11
Don't blink, kids, because you'll miss it.
01:13
We're about to see her in action.
01:15
How's that for precision and intensity?
01:33
They are known as the jet fighters of the animal world for a reason.
01:37
She just scored herself a well-earned breakfast.
01:39
She doesn't listen to her at least in her presence.
