00:32Many have complained of long wait times on the phone and problems with the Social Security website.

00:54Biden's speech comes the same day President Trump signed a new executive order

00:59aimed at preventing illegal immigrants from receiving the benefits.

01:04The White House also expanding a program to prosecute anyone engaging in Social Security fraud.

01:10Biden accused the administration of going after America's most vulnerable citizens.

01:15They want to wreck it so they can rob it.

01:18They want to make permanent the 2017 tax cuts which overwhelmingly benefited the wealthiest Americans

01:25and the biggest corporations.

01:27The Trump administration has announced plans to lay off around 7,000 Social Security employees

01:33but says it has no plans to cut benefit payments.
