On the junction of Coppice Lane and Cannock Road in Willenhall there were clues what had happened 24 hours before where a police chase ended in a crashed Mini Cooper and flattened lamppost
00:00There's not many clues except for this one where a lamppost used to stand which betrays what happened yesterday.
00:13A good Friday which Warsaw Police will not forget.
00:16It started in the afternoon when a Mini Cooper collided with a teenage cyclist due to the driver's reaction.
00:25And not stopping, a full alert was put out to Warsaw Police to search for him.
00:33Instead of driving back over and not leaving the house, the young driver, 17 year old, continued to use the Mini Cooper on the streets at Blockswitch and he was spotted.
00:49Crashed into that lamppost and came to an end here.
00:57Luckily no other pedestrians, dogs or motorists were injured in the police pursuit.
01:06However the driver was immediately taken to hospital.
01:10The Amory Club over there, a members club which is part of the community.

01:19That was forced to close early due to the amount of police activity which the management committee has already apologised to the cribbage team.
01:28Which was forced to end due to the nefarious activities of one irresponsible driver who is now being questioned by police concerning wounding intent.
