How huge is Hearts' Scottish Cup semi final vs Aberdeen for season at large?

00:13Do you think Aberdeen's form has been good without being great?

00:25what was effectively close to a Rangers reserve 11,

00:29do you think that kind of just edges the pendulum in favour of Hearts

00:33with going into the game?

00:36I'd probably say on form and league position you have to,

00:40Aberdeen would very slightly, if you're going to pick favourites,

00:42it would probably have to be Aberdeen.

00:44I think they're so evenly matched and their scores this season

00:47and the games that they've played against one another confirm that.

00:51I think the big thing is at Hampden, as is often the case,

00:54the big thing is pace.

00:56And whoever does that I think will come out on top.

00:59Hearts have got players with pace in their squad.

01:02They haven't, you know, the guys I'm thinking of,

01:04like Alan Forrest, Vargas, Mr. Dramon played the weekend there,

01:10but these guys haven't been regular starters recently.

01:13So I'm not sure exactly what role they'll be given at Hampden, if any.

01:19Aberdeen have got pace in wide areas, as you'll know.

01:22So I think the team selection for Hearts on Saturday is pretty crucial

01:25to get the right legs in the team

01:29and make sure that they've got that speed there

01:31to get them in behind and damage, Aberdeen,

01:33because there's so much grass in the Hampden pitch

01:35and there's so much opportunity to expose people one against one

01:39and get wingers running at defenders.

01:42To think of more quality,

01:46feeling the hardest thing at all is preserve,

01:48for people who have here there.

01:49I mean that whatever you want,

01:50because you've got Georgie here,

01:52music,

01:53a bunch of people over there is so much
