Ben Banks reacts from Tynecastle after Hearts beat Dundee 3-1 to move into the semi-final stage of the Scottish Cup.

00:06semi-final. A first half goal from Sander Carton sent them on their way. It was only

00:11a goal up at the break. Dundee hit the bar just before half time as well. A controlled

00:15first half, but maybe deja vu a wee bit from the derby kicking in. But when Joe Shognessy

00:21put Dundee back on level terms, a controlled first half, not capitalised with more goals,

00:26and they were punished at the start of the second half. But they regrouped, Blair Spittles

00:32crossing to the box, headed on by Simon Murray into the net. Sander Carton finishing it off.

00:37And that was that. Dundee never really put up much of a fight after that. Harks could

00:40have added another fourth or a fifth goal to their tally. But in the end they were satisfied

00:44with their night's work. It was important for them to get through to the National Stadium

00:47after what was a disappointing Sunday for them, making them go to focus on progress

00:53into the cup final, where they will meet either of House vs Celtic, Aberdeen vs Queen's Park

01:00or Livingston vs St Johnson on the Monday night.
