00:00Good evening from Potawdry Stadium. I'm here deep in the bowels of the Richard Donald stand
00:05after Aberdeen's 3-2 win over Hearts that maintains their incredible winning start to
00:11the season. That's now them on a 13-game streak of victories, their seventh in the league.
00:17It means that they sit top of the table alongside Celtic, they're behind them on goal difference.
00:2219 points clear of the Jambos who are still bottom half of this game here and it means
00:27that they have a top-of-the-table showdown when the league reconvenes in a couple of weeks' time
00:31after Celtic's 2-1 win over Ross County earlier at Celtic Park on the 19th. That's going to be
00:36some game. It might not be as dramatic as this one though, one of the best games of the season I
00:41would say between these two teams. Hearts, who are managelous, winless and still propping up
00:46the rest of the division, played their part, they were excellent in spells here. They rallied from
00:51an early goal to go 2-1 up through a fantastic strike from Blaise Pittle, who was second half.
00:56Their problem was they couldn't hold on to that lead for very long. Two minutes later,
00:59Miki Devlin equalised and then, clearly jaded by the exertions of going to Azerbaijan earlier in
01:05the week, George Grant got a red card 15 minutes to go. That meant 11 v 10 at a rocking Potadri
01:11and Aberdeen poured forward and it got the winner with two minutes to go through Ante Palaversa.
01:16It was set up by Duke, who came on for his first appearance since going AWOL earlier in the season,
01:22quite a redemption story from him. Afterwards, Jimmy Tolleen, as always,
01:27saying the same things. We stay humble, we take it day by day, game by game, but you could tell
01:31that he knew how big a victory this was. This Aberdeen team didn't play as well as previously,
01:37they made mistakes, they were a bit insecure at the back, but what they have got is a lot of
01:41options going forward, so much pace and movement and vitality in the final third and they got a
01:46monumental result for them here. They're flying if they share Aberdeen's three hearts too.
