During Wednesday’s Congressional Hispanic Caucus briefing, Rep. Glenn Ivey (D-MD) called for the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a man who was wrongfully deported to El Salvador.

01:04And we know that that was bothering the Trump administration because they punished him for having said the truth when he was in court.

01:11But then they go to the press conference room and engage in character assassination and lies.

01:17I think it's time for them to put up or shut up.

01:20Let's get him in court.

01:21Have the day in court.

01:23The Supreme Court's had some rulings that came out where the Trump administration is pretending like they're ruling in their favor.

01:35And I think if we get that chance again, it'll be just like the lawyer that's on suspension right now.

01:40They'll have to acknowledge they lied about his character.

01:43They attacked his character wrongly.

01:45We'll have to point out to them, too.

01:47The sheet medals, he's working.

01:49He's here in the community.

01:50He's following the court order that he was under at the time.

01:53And instead of doing that, they're trying to leave him in a prison in El Salvador with the gang that he said that he needed to get away from.

02:02They sent him to the most notorious prison in the Western Hemisphere.

02:05It's shocking.

02:06It's horrible.

02:07It's tragic.

02:08And it needs to change immediately.

02:10So we stand with you in support.

02:12We're going to keep fighting for it with you.

02:14And I hope that sooner or later, the rule of law will prevail and we'll win this case and he'll come back.
