The Selangor government has refuted allegations that victims of the April 1 gas pipeline fire in Putra Heights were placed in temporary rental homes located in remote areas.
Selangor Housing and Culture exco Datuk Borhan Aman Shah told reporters after handing over the keys to the temporary accommodation to two victims on Wednesday (April 16) that the temporary housing offered was based on available vacant units across the state, and affected residents were free to choose a location that best suited their needs.
