The Selangor state government will provide RM2,000 in monthly rental assistance for six months to each family affected by the Putra Heights gas pipeline fire, to help cover housing costs while their homes are being repaired or rebuilt.
Speaking at a media conference on Monday (April 7), Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari said affected homeowners can choose to stay in smart rental temporary housing units, and use the RM2,000 assistance to cover the rental fees.
