'How Much Did You Make?': AOC Absolutely Roasts Marjorie Taylor Greene For Individual Stock Trading

At a "Fighting Oligarchy" event in Nampa, Idaho, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) decried members of Congress trading individual stocks.

00:11The everyday influence of corruption and dark money was astonishing.

00:17And we, in Congress, have somehow conditioned ourselves to believe that it's normal for

00:25elected representatives who have sworn an oath to the people of this country to day-trade

00:31individual stocks and make millions with the sensitive information that we are entrusted

00:38with for the purpose of governing.

00:41Just look at what happened this week.

00:43But how can anyone possibly make an objective vote on health care, energy, or war when their

00:50own money is tied up in pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or defense company stocks?

00:57You can't.

01:00And we saw it just happen with Trump's corrupt and disastrous and rushed tariff scheme.

01:08We saw Marjorie Taylor Greene buy that dip.
