00:00We're at Laurel Bank today. My name's Jamie Lee. I'm the activities coordinator here
00:04and we are celebrating Joan's 103rd birthday.
00:18So we have had Puma turn up today to pick Joan and her friends up
00:22to take her to the Midland Hotel for afternoon tea.
00:30If you want to come to her, Joan's on the radio.
00:35Don't you dare save me, go in there.
00:39I'm going to go to see Joan and her friend.
00:42So we're going to have a big one.
00:43And we're going to have a big one.
00:45So we're going to go to her.
00:48Don't you dare say we're going in there.
00:51Don't you dare say we're going in there.
00:56He's going in there.
00:57This is the whole point of liberty, you all get in, have a party, get a drink around the place, cheers, can I have one?
01:17They had a lovely time there, Joan wouldn't let any of us leave until we ate everything off the plates,
01:46typical Joan, and we then had another limousine pick us up, bring us back to the home where everybody was waiting to have a big party,
01:54lots of cake and champagne, but the best of all was a butler in the buff.
02:16Joan is a very kind-hearted lady, she has always got everyone's best interests at heart and will help anyone, but she's also got a very fiery side, a very bossy side, and if she doesn't like anything, she will tell you.
02:40Joan turning 103 is very, very special to us and to her, but she can't understand why she's got here today with all these lovely people and all these celebrations.
02:50She doesn't think she deserves it, but really she does, she's a fabulous lady.
02:55Next time when we're not on TV, we'll have it in the buff. Deal. April, I'll come back to the 104 for next year, it'll be fine, it'll just be me and you, it'll be for the best.
