00:00So in Government Cheese, you play Bootsy. I wanted to ask you, how does he fit in the world

00:05of Government Cheese and what initially drew you to that character, man?

00:09I think that Bootsy is a valuable member of the Government Cheese team because

00:16he offers kind of an alternative perspective. Hampton is a very didactic, clear-minded,

00:26focused family man, and there's no question about what he wants to do with the years he has left

00:38on this planet. He wants to set his family straight and be a good example to his sons

00:43and a man that his wife can love. Bootsy is a free spirit who marches to the beat of his own drummer,

00:52and aside from his commitment and loyalty to Hampton and the Chambers family,

01:00Bootsy is about Bootsy and what Bootsy wants to do that morning or what Bootsy wants to do that

01:06evening. Does Bootsy want to take a nap? Does Bootsy feel like going to this job,

01:11make a little bit of money? Does Bootsy want to pull off a big score? Does Bootsy just want to get

01:17high? You know, what does Bootsy want to do that day in that moment? And that's pretty much

01:22how he lives, and it's very different to Hampton's life, and that's one of the things that drew me

01:30to this role is the, you know, the juxtaposition between the two of them.
