What once was vile, in time appeared as fair
For slavery reshapes a nation's soul and care.

تھا جو ’ناخُوب، بتدریج وہی ’خُوب‘ ہُوا
کہ غلامی میں بدل جاتا ہے قوموں کا ضمیر

Karte Hain Ghulamon Ko Ghulami Pe Razamand
Taveel-e-Masael Ko Banate Hain Bahana

They teach the slaves to love their chains
By turning sacred truths into hollow claims.

کرتے ہیں غلاموں کو غلامی پہ رضامند
تاویلِ مسائل کو بناتے ہیں بہانہ

Bharosa Kar Nahin Sakte Ghulamon Ki Baseerat Par
Ke Dunya Mein Faqat Mardan-e-Hur Ki Ankh Hai Beena

The insight of the enslaved cannot be trusted
For in this world, only the free possess true sight.

بھروسا کر نہیں سکتے غلاموں کی بصیرت پر
کہ دنیا میں فقط مردانِ حُر کی آنکھ ہے بِینا
