00:0030 years ago this week, the body of a newborn baby girl was found in Singleton Lake in Ashford.

00:10Although her name was not known, she was named Baby April by the investigation team.

00:15It was clear from Baby April's body that she had been prevented from breathing

00:21and as a result of that, a large-scale murder investigation was launched.

00:25Sadly, the original investigation and subsequent investigations have failed to identify those responsible for Baby April's murder.

00:34On the 30th anniversary, our cold case investigation team is reviewing the case

00:39and urging anyone with any information to come forward.

00:43We urge anyone that can help to contact the police using the phone number in the appeal or Crime Stoppers.

00:51Now that three decades have passed, it has to be the right time to do the right thing

00:56and come forward and help us get justice for Baby April.
