00:05Residents continue to be careful near the volcano Canlaon

00:09along with the thick fog that is blowing it.

00:12According to FIBO, the volcano in Negros Island erupted at 6 o'clock a while ago.

00:16Its plume is at 4,000 meters above sea level

00:19and is moving in the direction towards Timog, Canluran.

00:22There are also known as pyroclastic density currents

00:25or the accumulation of hot fog and stones.

00:28Alert Level 3 is still high in the volcano

00:30while the coordination of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction Management 6

00:34is still in place with the affected LGUs in the area.

00:36In addition, Canlaon City LGU is already preparing

00:39the residents for a possible evacuation

00:41if Alert Level 4 is implemented.

00:44Classes and entry to public offices in La Carlota City are now suspended.

00:49Residents continue to be warned to be alert

00:52and to follow the orders of the authorities.

00:56According to the news, our teachers can use

00:58the 30-day flexible vacation between April 16 to June 1

01:03according to the Department of Education or DepEd.

01:05According to DepEd Department Order No. 9, Series of 2025,

01:08teachers can avail it directly or separately.

01:12According to DepEd Secretary Sonny Angara,

01:15it will help teachers to rest

01:18and spend time with their loved ones.

01:20This includes the directives of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

01:24to strengthen the work-life balance of our teachers.

01:27Meanwhile, teachers can pass their school principal

01:32for their 30-day break until April 16.
