00:00The Agriculture Department of the Onion Research and Extension Center in Bungabon, Nueva Ecija has decided to establish a DA.

00:08This is to strengthen the onion industry of the country.

00:12Aside from that, the beef industry will also be strengthened.

00:22The Department of Agriculture will further strengthen the production of onions in the country.

00:27The DA of the Onion Research and Extension Center in Bungabon, Nueva Ecija has decided to establish a DA.

00:34This will include technologies that will further improve the quality and increase the income of farmers.

00:41The DA will also increase the price of 5 million pesos for the opening of Harabas, a pest that destroys the production of onions.

00:49These steps are important to increase the supply of onions and to be more affordable to consumers.

00:57At the same time, the government has promised to fight smuggling that affects the livelihoods of local farmers.

01:06The Agriculture Department will further strengthen the beef industry.

01:11Agriculture Secretary Francisca Quilarel Jr. of the Central Bank of the Philippines will request

01:16that the decision to stop the use of beef in the production of money be re-examined.

01:22The Department of Foreign Affairs will also request that the use of beef be used as a support

01:27and other documents issued by the government.

01:30According to the Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority,

01:4486% of the total production of beef in the world in 2023 is from the Philippines.

01:51The country's income from the export of beef from 2014 to 2023 will reach $139 million.
