Scott Parker issues an update on the fitness of Mike Tresor

Mike Tresor has recovered from his illness and has been training well says Clarets head coach Scott Parker.

00:00Pick him up now, hopefully. Obviously, he's had a tough time over the last few months.

00:05Certainly been a bit of a stop-start for Mikey. A little bit of a problem illness-wise.

00:11It seems like he's overcome that. He's been first-class the last two weeks in terms of the work he's been doing,

00:18in terms of his fitness work. I'm pleased that he got some minutes in.

00:22Obviously, we're coming to the back end of it now, but hopefully we can keep working

00:27and we'll see how things pan out with him.

00:29I think, as always, for two players that have been out for such a considerable amount of time,

00:34you're always working in real short spaces, really. I don't want to commit on anything

00:40because when you've been out for such a long time, you just need to build them up slowly.

00:44So, pleased where they both are. Definitely Rambo as well.

00:49I didn't think that he would be in the frame or certainly playing minutes this year

00:55as quick as he has done, and that's full credit to him and the medical team, really.

00:58So, we'll see how that goes.
