Clarets head coach Scott Parker has faith in his young players and has been impressed with James Trafford's performances this season after a difficult first season at Turf Moor.

00:00But these are young, young players, there's just two you mentioned there.

00:03There's more in the squad as well.

00:05And I think I've referenced it before, young players

00:09in experiencing things in a 90-minute game of football

00:13and experience things throughout this season, what they've not experienced before.

00:18And character-wise, I think I've seen every bit of that quality as well, I've seen.

00:23So, yeah, I think at times they are learning on the job

00:28and they're not surprising me.

00:30If anything, they're standing up every day, becoming stronger and better.

00:33Look, I'm a coach that believes in the young players

00:37and I think that's probably evident over the course of my coaching career

00:40in terms of the clubs I've been at and trying to give the young players

00:44an opportunity, first and foremost, they have to take that.

00:47And them two boys, what you spoke about there, have definitely took that.

00:50And the other night was a massive moment for Trav, really.

00:54I was delighted for him because I think it's been well-documented.

00:59He had a tough time last year, I think internally as well, to be fair,

01:03in terms of everything.

01:05And he's come through it and he's become a much stronger character.

01:10And obviously this year he's done remarkably well, really.
