00:29The City Government of Alamino is boosting its faith tourism with the opening of the

00:33Our Lady of the Assumption Chapel and Retreat Hall at the Pilgrimage Islands of Hundred

00:38Islands National Park in Alamino City, Pangasinan.

00:41The new facilities aim to deepen the faith of devotees while strengthening local tourism.

01:00In addition to the chapel, the air-conditioned retreat hall is now open for reservations

01:05and can accommodate up to 120 people.

01:08Meanwhile, the retreat house is expected to be fully operational this upcoming Lenten

01:12season.

01:13The construction of these facilities was made possible through a Php19 million fund from

01:17the Provincial Government of Pangasinan and the support from both national and city governments.

01:23Tourism activities such as highland hopping, kayaking, helmet diving and swimming continue

01:29to be offered in the area.

01:30With the expected influx of visitors this dry season and the upcoming Lenten season,

01:36the City Government of Alamino assures the public a safe and well-organized pilgrimage

01:40experience for all.
