00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. pointed out that Filipinos in Qatar are being arrested

00:05because of the political protest.

00:08The details are in the news of Kenneth Paciente of PTV Manila.

00:14A temporary release was given to the 17 Filipinos who were arrested in Qatar

00:18because of the political protest.

00:21Despite the argument of the Philippines that these people were released,

00:24the current situation of the case against these people is still unclear.

00:28That's why it's better to ask for the provisional liberty of the accused

00:31while the investigation is still ongoing.

00:54According to the Department of Migrant Workers,

00:57President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. pointed out the situation of the so-called Filipinos.

01:01That's why the DMW immediately helped its counterparts

01:05and the Qatari government to release the OFWs.

01:27Even though these people were temporarily released,

01:29the President still insisted that they will be given legal assistance

01:33and that their rights will be protected.

01:47The DMW thanked the authorities and the Qatari government

01:51for agreeing to release the OFWs

01:53and again reminded the Filipinos abroad

01:56to follow the law of the country they belong to

01:59from PTV Manila.
