Pangilinan warns climate change threat to PH food security
Senatorial aspirant Francis Pangilinan tells The Manila Times in a chance interview at the Legazpi City Boulevard on April 1, 2025 that climate change is a threat to the Philippines food security. He said that the government should allocate more funds to help and strengthen the farmers affected by the immense impact of climate change and provide infrastructure and technology. Pangilinan said that Thailand and Vietnam, with lesser population, allocate a bigger budget on agriculture compared to the Philippines, which has a bigger population.
