Bananamoon is a quintessentially cool Glasgow bar out in Glasgow’s West End. In an area populated with great bars, it more than holds its own.  We caught up with Alexa from Bananamoon to see how they make their Banana Mojitos.

00:00Okay, so today I'm making the banana mai tai, so we're going to be using the banana red

00:09leg rum.

00:10To start off with, we're going to do a double shot of banana rum, we're going to do a single

00:15shot of contro, we've got a single shot of orange joe, this is kind of like an almond

00:27flavored and scented syrup, really good, really delicious, and a little splash of lime

00:36juice, and sugar syrup, and there we go, we're going to mix this up with ice, and we're going

00:54to shake it for about 30 seconds, and then we're going to put a double strain into our

01:19glass, top it with ice, can't forget the garnish, just going to go in with a lime and

01:48a little slice of banana, and that's our banana mai tai.
