00:00Hello there, welcome to the final episode of putting Dr G on the spot in the month of March

00:05where we're discussing various ejaculatory disorders. Although today's topic is not

00:10strictly about ejaculatory disorder, however although ejaculation is normal,

00:15but the content is normal because it's a condition called Azoospermia.

00:19Azoospermia actually just stands for ejaculation that actually is seedless or contains no sperms at

00:32all. How can that be the case? If you just imagine that ejaculate contains between four to six mils

00:39of liquid and out of that liquid only one percent is contributed by the testicle itself that has

00:46content of sperms. So people who underwent a vasectomy clearly has Azoospermia, however

00:54naturally men can also ejaculate a normal looking semen without the content of sperms.

01:02So how can that be the case? So Azoospermia can be divided into obstructive and non-obstructive

01:09Azoospermia. Obstruction can be caused by vasectomy or scarring as a result of chlamydia or gonorrhea

01:18infections. In a different circumstance, scarring or obstruction itself can also be induced by a

01:26congenital condition called Congenital Bilateral Aplasia of the Vastefrans. This is a genetic

01:35disorder that actually will stop the passage of sperms into the seminal fluid resulting in

01:44Azoospermia. So the men themselves will function normally, however when they start having setting

01:51up families that is impossible because the sperms just doesn't go through. Apart from the obstructive

01:58nature of Azoospermia, there's also a non-obstructive nature. For example if somebody

02:04who has acquired non-obstructions of Azoospermia such as chemotherapy, mumps, testicular cancer,

02:12then these patients will produce semen that contains no sperms. But there is also another

02:20congenital condition actually called Spermatogenesis Arrest and this is a genetic

02:26condition that the sperm itself are not being produced in the testicle resulting in semen that

02:32is produced without sperms. For the month of April, we're discussing interesting facts about various

02:38forms of infections. We can start with cystitis, then talk about urethritis, prostatitis,

02:45pyelonephritis. There's various forms of infection that affect both men and women. So if you are
