00:12with Ty Dolla $ign, Childish Gambino. I mean, what was it like when you're getting the recognition

00:17and collaboration with some of these peers?

00:20Honestly, it's such a dream come true. You know, I put in a lot of years, a lot of work,

00:26so it's so good to really feel the love and the excitement and I don't know, just the

00:32overall love around me and the project. So it's been so beautiful.

00:36And I mean, you're not slowing down anytime soon. You're opening for Sabrina Carpenter

00:42this year. I mean, what does Sabrina mean and her music mean to you?

00:46I think Sabrina is the epitome of fun, of flashy, of just really leaning into your femininity,

00:54but in a fun, raw way. And I think we need artists like that, especially in pop, you

01:00know, to just be that person for young girls, for women that like to express themselves

01:06and maybe it's not perfect all the time, you know, but that representation is so important

01:11right now, for sure.

01:12Absolutely, absolutely. And who is a woman in music that's inspiring you right now?

01:17A woman in music that's inspiring me? Ooh, I would say Mariba. I'm a really big fan of

01:24Mariba. Yeah, all the black women in music, for sure, do a lot for me and empower me to

01:32keep going.

01:33Yeah.

01:34Absolutely. And I completely agree with you. And it seems like you're getting the recognition

01:37that you deserve.
