00:08again i remember i saw you at don toliver's set

00:10yeah a couple years ago oh so you guys go way back

00:13going up so fast every time i see her she's just a little bit bigger a little

00:17bit bigger so i mean she's talking about you all day

00:20because she is your number one we kind of have a similar hairstyle

00:23yes we do oh my gosh guys like i'm shaking right now

00:26i didn't get the memo but next year we'll all coordinate next year

00:30yeah it's an unspoken bond

00:35well you recently announced your fifth studio album sincerely so can you please

00:38talk to us about what that album means to you

00:40and what can we expect um it's definitely my most vulnerable work

00:45it's very existential um my last album was very dance so this

00:50is just completely the opposite direction it's an emotional one

00:53yes yes and i mean you also you're a mother now

00:57and something that has been a main theme that i feel like a lot of people are

01:00talking about is that empowerment that comes along

01:02with being a mother so how has motherhood changed you um

01:06actually not even just motherhood i've had multiple life-altering events that

01:10have really shaped my entire world and the way

01:14that i look at my life and the way that i live on a day-to-day basis so

01:17more to come when the album actually comes out that i can talk about it a

01:20little bit more but um it definitely changes you

01:23forever you know absolutely and yes shout out to all the

01:27mothers out there and i feel like it's very

01:28it's very important to give them their flowers absolutely

01:32yes so oh you can go ahead go ahead you are

01:36reunited with your pal i was going to ask you

01:40what inspired you while creating your album oh my gosh so many different

01:44topics but i feel like in general just kind of like

01:47the state of the world finding a way to you know

01:51live a life of enjoyment despite the world despite the circumstances that

01:54you might be in finding a way to romanticize your life

01:57in any type of way and the place that i'm in in my life but

02:00also you know where we're at in the world a

02:03lot of it is very just full encompassing conceptually about

02:08home and you know life like right a moment in

02:13time and i feel like you really capture every aspect of that and that's why you

02:16know fans connect with you so much because you're so honest you're so raw

02:19you know yeah i write all my own music and i feel like that's such a big part

02:22of why my coochies that's what they're called

02:24can really like resonate with me because they feel that it's me and everything's

02:29very personal so absolutely well thank you so much yes
