00:00Jeffrey Roda won the title of champion in the first ever Marboys 10 Ball Open.

00:05Details on this were given by his teammate, Bernadette Tinoy.

00:11The first ever Marboys 10 Ball Open was a success.

00:16It was held yesterday at Marboys Billiards Cafe

00:19where 128 Q players participated in the competition.

00:24According to Assistant Manager Mark Anthony Sunico,

00:27it was important for some of the best pool artists in the country to gather

00:32to find out who will be the next 10 ball champion.

00:36It was also a great opportunity for the athletes to show their skills

00:40to get a ranking point.

00:42The champion will receive a prize of P350,000 this year.

00:46Sunico also added that they plan to hold a Marboys tournament every month.

00:51This is very important, especially for billiards.

00:55Billiards is one of the most popular sports here in the Philippines.

01:40the final round was won by 2023 World Cup Pool Champion James Aranas

01:46and Chinese Taipei Open Champion Jeffrey Roda.

01:49Here, Roda chose Aranas to be the champion of the 10 ball title.
