00:30The Philippine Army and the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency confirm a major decline

00:34in the new People's Army in Cagayan Valley with only one remaining armed group in the

00:39region.

00:40Based on the Surveillance and Intelligence Reports, 502nd Brigade Commander Eugene M.

00:45Mata has said only one armed group remains in the region, consisting of eight guerrilla

00:49members from the Komiteng Rehiyon, Cagayan Valley.

00:52Mata says the last eight-member rebel unit operates in the Sierra Madre Mountain Range

00:57near Isabela's coastal areas.

01:22Meanwhile, NICA Region 2 Deputy Director Remo Sarabara warns that despite the rebels

01:27weakened force, recruitment efforts by non-armed members continue, urging vigilance from authorities

01:33and the public.

01:34Rabara also added that authorities are strengthening information campaigns to expose rebel recruitment
