00:06And this is a special performance that was performed here in the country.

00:11With the richness of the traditional art of Japan, let's watch it.

00:17Japan has colorful performances

00:20where it shows the profound meaning of life and culture.

00:26And to witness some of the Japanese cultural performances,

00:30some of the performers of Senjubuyodan performed here in the Philippines

00:35at the headquarters of the Japan Embassy.

00:38Senjubuyodan is a traditional singing lesson that started in 1999.

00:44It was led by Mr. Senjo Enojo, a traditional dance and shamisen instructor.

00:56The traditional dance is very long.

01:05We made it shorter so that it wouldn't bore the people of that time.

01:13We incorporated various parts to make it into one performance.

01:19Senjo Shirayuki performed with Mr. Senjo Enojo.

01:31and Senjo Honoka

01:38I heard that there are a lot of young people, so I think it's very promising.

01:48I hope young people will enjoy it.

01:51Filipinos are very welcome for Japanese culture, I think.

01:55Because already there are so many Japanese culture in Japan.

01:59Pop culture, Japanese food, cuisine, restaurants.

02:03So I think many Filipinos already fall in love with Japan.

02:09Senjubuyodan will also be watched in other European countries

02:14such as France, Czech Republic, Spain, and the UK.
