03:50Face masks, these face masks are the most important, powerful public health tool we have.

03:55And I will continue to appeal for all Americans, all individuals in our country,

04:01to embrace these face coverings.

04:02I might even go so far as to say that this face mask is more guaranteed to protect me

04:09against COVID than when I take a COVID vaccine.

04:13They do not protect you from a dangerous virus.

04:25as Fauci said it in the beginning.

04:27And it changes the weather in the U.S. because this is all about COVID.

04:35A lot of folks are hearing now about double masking, wearing two masks or trying to get

04:42one of those N95 medical grade masks.

04:46You know, it likely does, because, I mean, this is a physical covering to prevent

04:52droplets and virus to get in.

04:55So if you have a physical covering with one layer, you put another layer on, it just makes

05:00common sense that it likely would be more effective.

05:03And that's the reason why you see people either double masking or doing a version of an N95.

05:12The new strains emerging create immense challenges, and masking is still the easiest thing to

05:22do to save lives.

05:25But we need everyone to mask up.

05:27I know it's a pain in the neck, but it's a patriotic responsibility.
