Half of humanity is now confined to their homes.

00:00There's literally one thing on this shelf and it's a grain-free nut flour.
00:22So that's it.
00:23That's what the state of affairs is here in California.
00:25It's myself, my husband, our nine-month-old baby, and our nanny in our house.
00:28So it's a little bit crowded.
00:29We have a two-bedroom apartment.
00:31We're all trying to work.
00:33It's been crazy.
00:34The other thing I'll say is that we have been trying to get to the grocery store for four
00:38days now, and every time we show up, the shelves look just like this.
00:43It's really a small handful of privileged people who can stay at home, people who have
01:04a roof, who can afford to have something to eat for a while, for a day, a month, and
01:41It's very important.
01:45But we also have to go through a lot of hardship.
01:52It's normal for us to think that we're just walking around.
02:02Let's do something to make a living.
02:05Others, who are poor people, who earn and eat daily, what will happen to them?
02:10The government should look at that.
02:20When I first started feeling ill, I called a nurse.
02:25And they said, don't come in unless you're having difficulty breathing,
02:30if you cannot walk, then that's when you can come in.
02:35And so basically, unless you're dying, don't come in.
02:40I mean, that's the thing for New Yorkers, you have to self-isolate.
02:43How? We're all cramped up in this apartment.
02:47I saw all those really, really neurotic, horrifying images in my head.
02:53So it was terrifying, because you thought you were going to die.
02:57You thought you were going to be that one case where a young, healthy person,
03:00or at the very least, you were going to just suffer tremendously at the hospital.
03:06What advice do you have for parents?
03:09Talk to your parents, watch movies, shake hands with your mom.
03:14So it's good that we, the government, accept this decision and don't come out.
03:18The rest is that I'm running social media campaigns with my friends
03:25so that people know about the precautionary measures.
03:28What advice do you have for parents?
03:33Try to keep in touch with your family, friends,
03:36talk to them every day, video calls, etc.
03:39Try to keep in touch with your family, friends, talk to them every day, video calls, etc.
03:42because living alone at home is complicated.
03:46There are days that are still long and complicated.
03:50Working, although sometimes it's hard for me to focus on work,
03:55but at least I have a job.
