How has London life changed since covid?

We ask Londoners how life has changed since lockdown, five years ago.

00:00I think the most noticeable change would be on a Friday afternoon in the city.

00:10The city used to be a really fun place on a Friday afternoon, particularly if the sun

00:15The pubs would be full, restaurants would be full, and there's a real buzz about it.

00:21I've sat in the city, had a meeting for an hour over a coffee, and no one's walked past

00:29I've had a lot, because I live out in Tamritch Wells in Kent, and I find a lot of people

00:35used to live and work in London, now a lot of us live outside and just come in a couple

00:39of days a week, which I really like.

00:41You get the best of both worlds.

00:44Not much has changed for me post-COVID.

00:46I think it's other people's habits, employees' habits, where they typically come in two,

00:51three days a week.

00:53Mondays and Fridays, notably, are the days that people work at home.
