Transport Minister Anthony Loke visited the Padang Besar and Alor Setar KTM stations on Monday (March 24) to evaluate KTMB's service operations, particularly the KTM Northern Commuter, and inspect infrastructure upgrades carried out by the Railway Assets Corporation (RAC). 00:00Today, I have made an appointment to go to the Police and Police Station in Padang Besar

00:18to see the agreement between the KTM and the Police in Singapore.

00:26After that, I have made an appointment to go to the Police Station in Padang Besar

00:30and from the Police Station in Padang Besar, I will take the KTM North Computer to the Alusta Station.

00:36The purpose of today's appointment is to assess the operation of the KTMB service,

00:41especially the North Computer and the improvement of the station's infrastructure by RAC.

00:48In terms of the location of the motorcycles, the RAC has built a motorcycle parking space

00:58in four stations with a capacity of 345 lots and a cost of Rp 1.3 million.

01:07All facilities have been used by passengers since last February,

01:12including 100 lots at Alusta Station, 100 lots at Anang Bukit Station,

01:1941 lots at Koba Station, and 104 lots at Tengkapi Araw Police Station.

01:26In addition, elevators along Padang Besar to the south will also be extended.

01:38As of now, the construction of three elevators at Pukit Ketri Train Station is almost complete

01:45and will be completed in April with a cost of Rp 3.4 million.

01:51Construction of elevators at Konyang and Koba Train Stations will begin next month.

01:58Currently, two elevators are being built at Padang Besar with a cost of Rp 3.69 million.

02:05It will be completed next year.

02:08Meanwhile, for the repair of 10 stations, elevators will be built along Padang Besar,

02:16Araw, Bukit Pentajam, Impor, Tanjung Malim, and so on.

02:23RAC is also implementing infrastructure development to increase operational efficiency.

02:30For example, the construction of three stock train depots at Padang Besar, Bukit Tengah, and Bukit Ketri

02:36is currently underway.
