00:00Senate President Cheese Escudero confirmed that Malacanang is abusing his executive privilege

00:07in the Senate hearing on the arrest of former President Rodrigo Duterte.

00:11This is what Daniel Manalastas reported.

00:15Diffusion notice and red notice,

00:17those are some of the terms heard during the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.

00:22But if you ask Senate President Cheese Escudero,

00:26As far as I know, diffusion order and red notice are the same.

00:29The only difference between the two is that the diffusion is confidential

00:32and the red notice is not confidential

00:34where a red notice is published to all the members of the Interpol.

00:38Escudero also confirmed that Malacanang wrote to him and Senator Aimee Marcos.

00:43To be sure, the executive privilege is being used

00:46and some sensitive information of those affected by national security can't be leaked.

00:52The office of Senator Aimee released a copy of the letter.

01:12According to Escudero, this is not the first time that there is such a letter from the palace.

01:17Just like the time of former President Gloria Macapagalaroyo

01:20where the intention is not to allow some members of the cabinet to listen to the Senate.

01:25Escudero also asked Senator Rolando De La Rosa

01:29to hide the warrant of the ICC.

01:45Malacanang has a grudge against Banatee De La Rosa

01:48who is a witness of the palace that the warrant of arrest was legal

01:52against former President Rodrigo Duterte.

01:54He did not submit his sovereignty to the administration of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

02:00De La Rosa is also not a good model to hide the warrant of the ICC.
