The owners of a business, that launched in Burnley Market Hall, have opened their own shop.  Sip Bubble Pop started as a humble stall, but has now expanded into a shop on Boot Way.

00:00Tell me about your new business that you've opened here in Burnley.

00:02So it's called Sit But Bubble Pop. We specialise in bubble tea, rolled ice cream and diner food.

00:08And what's the response been so far from the people of Burnley?

00:11It's been really good, yeah, it's been really good.

00:14We've got a huge crowd of young people, families, all really dedicated customers.

00:21And what do you specialise in?

00:23Rolled ice cream and bubble tea.

00:25So tell me a little bit about the rolled ice cream.

00:27So the rolled ice cream, it started in Thailand, actually,

00:32and it was brought over to the UK a couple of years ago and it's really popular now.

00:35It's a liquid ice cream mix made on a frozen plate that gets down to about minus 25 degrees.

00:42So that could be the new craze for this summer?

00:44Yes, yes, we're hoping so.

00:45And who are you running the business with?

00:47It's me and my fiancée, Luvia.
