01:39Today, we see that sin is a sin
01:45but neither do our faces turn red, nor does Allah the Almighty punish us,
01:53nor does punishment descend from the heavens.
01:57Partial warnings are given.
02:01You should pick up Surah A'raf and its verse number 133.
02:09It is about the Israelites

02:17and then they disobey,
02:20and then they are forced to repent for a while.
02:25So, there is a series of punishments.
02:29It is said,
02:33We sent a storm on them.
02:37We sent a storm on them.
02:41We sent bats,
02:45we sent rats,
02:48we sent frogs,
02:50we sent blood.
02:52And it is said that all these verses were our clear signs.
02:59The matter was that when they began to fall on the ground
03:05and began to disobey Allah and His Messenger,
03:09Allah the Almighty sent a storm.
03:12So much water, so much water, that they became worried.
03:16Water everywhere.
03:18And how much water is coming?
03:20Extremely worried.
03:21They said to Prophet Moses,
03:24that you should pray in the presence of Allah.
03:27This punishment should be averted from us.
03:29We promise that we will listen to you.
03:33Prophet Moses prayed.
03:35The punishment was averted.
03:37The fields became green.
03:39The gardens came into existence again.
03:41One month passed, and then they disobeyed.
03:45Then Allah the Almighty sent a torment of bats.
03:50So many bats that Allah's protection.
03:54When we sit, there are bats.
03:56When we eat, there are bats.
03:58Then he prayed.
04:00He requested Prophet Moses.
04:02You should pray.
04:04We will become pious.
04:06And we will listen to everything you say.
04:08He prayed.
04:09The punishment was averted.
04:11Then the matter turned towards happiness.
04:14One month passed.
04:16And then they disobeyed again.
04:19Then the torment of rats came.
04:21The torment of bats came.
04:24They ate everything.
04:27They were so worried.
04:29Then they requested.
04:31You should pray.
04:33Allah the Almighty should avert this torment.
04:35We will listen to you.
04:38The torment was averted.
04:40One month passed.
04:42Then they disobeyed again.
04:45The torment of frogs came.
04:47Frogs everywhere.
04:49Then he repented.
04:51And then the torment was averted.
04:53One month passed.
04:55Then they disobeyed again.
04:57And everywhere there was blood.
04:59This is what the Quran says.
05:03We sent all these signs openly.
05:05How many torments were there?
05:07Storm,
05:09bats,
05:10bats,
05:11bats,
05:12and blood.
05:14He sent a storm.
05:16And the bats,
05:18bats,
05:19frogs,
05:20and blood.
05:21This was a series of torments.
05:23But in the end,
05:25this is what he did.
05:27He repented.
05:29And then he disobeyed again.
05:31This was the matter of that nation.
05:34In the same way,
05:36we get this matter.
05:38Surah A'raf, verse number 175.
05:49This is the incident of Bal'am bin Ba'ura.
05:52This was the response of the time of Musa.
05:56When Musa came to the land of Syria,
06:00he wanted to do Jihad against the tyrants.
06:04So this nation came to him,
06:06to curse him.
06:08And he said,
06:10I will curse against the Prophet of Allah.
06:13They began to cast spells.
06:16They began to cast spells.
06:18He said,
06:20I will do one thing.
06:22I will do Istikhara.
06:24He did not do Istikhara.
06:26He cast more spells.
06:28He did Istikhara.
06:30He did not do Istikhara.
06:32The people said,
06:34If Allah had forbidden you,
06:36you would not have done Istikhara.
06:38If you did not get any answer,
06:40then you should pray.
06:42He was a man of good manners.
06:44And when he climbed the mountain,
06:47and began to curse against Musa,
06:50the words that came out,
06:52came out against his nation.
06:55His nation said,
06:57You are proud.
06:59You are cursing against us.
07:01He said,
07:03I was killed.
07:05He was such a pious man.
07:07All his prayers were accepted.
07:09Allah said,
07:11We gave him our verses.
07:13He ran away from them.
07:15And he was saddened by the way of Satan.
07:19The situation was,
07:21His example became like a dog.
07:26The third example,
07:28Surah Qalam, verse 17.
07:39There was a pious man in Yemen.
07:43He had a big garden.
07:45What did he do?
07:47When he went to cut his garden,
07:51he would distribute the fruits.
07:56He would spread a sheet.
07:58He would cut it.
08:00And he would distribute the fruits.
08:03When he would get the fruits,
08:06he would take out a tenth of it.
08:10He had three sons.
08:12After his death,
08:14he said,
08:16This is not enough.
08:18If we keep distributing,
08:20what will we have left?
08:22He said,
08:24If we cut the garden,
08:26no one will know.
08:28We will bring our wealth.
08:30When he reached there,
08:32the Qur'an said,
08:34He was burnt to ashes.
08:36Allah made him ashes.
08:38He said,
08:40This is not ours.
08:42The brother said,
08:44This is ours.
08:46Our intentions changed.
08:48Let us repent together.
08:50So that Allah will show mercy.
08:54Allah will give us a better garden.
08:56When he repented,
08:58Allah gave him a better garden.
09:04Allah says,
09:16If the people of the settlement
09:18had faith and righteousness,
09:20we would have given them
09:22the blessings of the heavens and the earth.
09:26But he refused.
09:28He said,
09:30Come and turn to Allah.
09:32Remember,
09:34When Moses was in prison,
09:40and Moses was ordered,
09:42Tell them that their prayer will not be accepted.
09:46There is a thief in them.
09:48Moses said,
09:50Tell us who he is.
09:52We will remove him from the ranks.
09:54Allah said,
09:56I refuse to a thief.
09:58How can I tell you that he is a thief?
10:00Remember Allah.
10:02The people of the settlement
10:04were praying,
10:06but their prayers were not being accepted.
10:08Allah said to Moses,
10:10Tell them that if they raise their hands
10:12for prayer,
10:14their hands will reach the heavens.
10:16Their feet will get dirty.
10:18But I will not accept their prayers.
10:20Because they are
10:22taking away each other's rights.
10:24Moses was called
10:26and everyone
10:28apologized to each other.
10:30The one who was given
10:32was fulfilled.
10:34When he was forgiven,
10:36Allah sent rain from the heavens.
