05:03It's time for you to meet our special guest today.
05:07This guest is very special because in a very young age, they have gained a big name.
05:13They are very liking it.
05:15They are coming on the bus.
05:17At this time, the television television is perhaps the most loved character and the actor himself now is quickly becoming the most beloved.
05:26Ladies and Gentlemen, Samar Jafri.
05:31Assalamualaikum, lovely boy. How are you?
05:34Therese are you?
05:35Thank you for coming to my show.
05:37Please have a seat.
05:39Our little matching match.
05:42It has become bromance.
05:43It means that I am doing something right.
05:46If I am doing something right, it means that I am doing something right.
05:51Samar, how are you?
05:53Alhamdulillah, I am totally fine.
05:55At this time, the whole Pakistan is disappointed in the next episode.
05:59What happened to me?
06:01I have 3-4 calls.
06:04They told me that you will know that this will be saved or not.
06:07So, what do you want to say on this point?
06:09I think it is a great suspense point.
06:12You are right.
06:13You are right.
06:14You are right.
06:15You are right.
06:16Every interview that I have given, we have given such a point.
06:19In the last episode, people say, what will happen in the next episode?
06:23This is the biggest cliffhanger.
06:24The cliffhanger of my interview is a cliffhanger.
06:26The rest of the interviews is a big cliffhanger.
06:29I hope that when the next episode comes, people will do that.
06:33And feel better.
06:35You just want to say that?
06:36I will say that.
06:37You just want to say that?
06:38You want to say that?
06:39Yes.
06:40And feel better after that.
06:41You have more curiosity.
06:44Why do you do that?
06:45I am doing a good job.
06:46I am doing a good job.
06:47I am doing a good job.
06:48As I was saying in the intro, I don't think that there is a strange thing.
06:51Vali right now is the most loved character on television.
06:56Alhamdulillah.
06:57And you, mashallah, are quickly becoming everyone's beloved.
07:00Yeah.
07:01So, how do you feel this feeling?
07:03I think I am grateful.
07:04And...
07:06Thank God for that.
07:08I have been standing in this place.
07:10I mean, I have been working on it since God knows how long.
07:14So, when this happens, when you get a gift, you will be happy.
07:18And you are grateful that I have been standing in this place.
07:23So, yeah, I think I am just happy and glad that this is happening.
07:26After the air, now, when you are stepping out,
07:31Is there a difference?
07:32There is a lot.
07:33I don't want to be an actor who...
07:35You know, we say one season wonder,
07:37that it is one time and one hit after the other.
07:39That happens when you are doing the first drama,
07:42and if that thing is good,
07:43you are scared of what will happen in the premiere.
07:46So, at the time of Mayri,
07:48people who are recognizing me,
07:50I am very proud.
07:51I was very proud.
07:52And now that I am stepping out of my house,
07:54and people are actually freezing,
07:55I am very proud.
07:56And we are also doing songs together.
07:58So, I think that we have another CD.
08:00No, just like you were in Lahore.
08:02So, when you were at the airport,
08:04did people swarm you?
08:05And like, you know, did people...
08:07Yeah.
08:08I know the most happy thing is what it is.
08:10When I start to remember the crew,
08:12I am very happy.
08:14We all are very happy if the crew doesn't do anything.
08:17Yeah.
08:18So, when you are giving special treatment,
08:19you are giving a seat,
08:20what you have said,
08:21sir, you are going to go to the window.
08:22It is very happy.
08:23It is very happy.
08:24Summer and Vali,
08:26how many similarities are these two?
08:28Apart from the fact that both are very good songs.
08:30And both are very good songs.
08:31Both are very good songs.
08:32Both are very good songs.
08:33Both are the wrong ones.
08:34Both are the wrong ones.
08:35I think.
08:36Similarities in both of them.
08:37I think.
08:38The struggle of Vali,
08:39that was from his father's father's career.
08:42It was probably mine.
08:44Because like I said,
08:45I have been very insecure about my work.
08:48Because when you are introverted,
08:50shy,
08:51you feel like I will present the work.
08:53People will not absorb the work.
08:55They will not absorb the work.
08:56They will not perceive it.
08:58So,
08:59I think,
09:00my struggle is that.
09:01I think,
09:02about introverted actors,
09:03of course,
09:04we know other actors also
09:06who are introverts in their life.
09:09Is that a struggle?
09:11When your personality inherently,
09:14you are an introvert.
09:16But,
09:17this is show business.
09:18And you have to be out there.
09:20As a singer,
09:21you have to perform.
09:22You have to be on stage.
09:23You have to be on stage.
09:24And you have to engage in music.
09:25You have to engage in music.
09:27And then obviously,
09:29when you are performing on camera,
09:30that's entirely a different ball game altogether.
09:33So,
09:34this is the challenge,
09:35as an introvert,
09:36to pick up a profession,
09:38which is all about,
09:40you know,
09:41showing business.
09:43Exactly.
09:44How did you bridge that?
09:46I think,
09:47that was always a challenge for me.
09:48And,
09:50I also have social anxiety.
09:51Okay.
09:52So,
09:53whenever there are gatherings,
09:54when people call the industry,
09:56there are very few
09:58selective friends in the industry,
09:59who are going to go,
10:00that,
10:01if they will be,
10:02then,
10:03I will talk with them.
10:04The biggest challenge is,
10:06that,
10:07if you don't talk a lot about someone,
10:09and you sit here,
10:10they feel arrogant.
10:11Hmm.
10:12So,
10:13Especially if he is an actor.
10:14Especially if he is an actor.
10:15Especially if he is an actor.
10:16Yes.
10:17If he is young,
10:18and if you are doing something good,
10:19then,
10:20they feel that,
10:21his mind is bad.
10:22Now,
10:23people are actually,
10:24trying to understand,
10:25that,
10:26that,
10:27I think,
10:28people have been very welcoming.
10:29I was afraid,
10:30that,
10:31that,
10:32that,
10:33but,
10:34maybe,
10:35that,
10:36when we start talking,
10:37then,
10:38it will be fine.
10:39Okay.
10:40Tell me,
10:41that,
10:42we are looking at the equation,
10:43how do you define it?
10:45Is it really love?
10:46Is it friendship?
10:47Is it companionship?
10:49What is it?
10:50So,
10:51I think,
10:52in the case of Maya and Wali,
10:53that,
10:54they found someone,
10:55who is actually there to listen,
10:56and understand what,
10:57what they are going through.
10:58So,
10:59obviously,
11:00it's love for me.
11:01For you?
11:02Yeah.
11:03Who is playing Wali?
11:04Yeah.
11:05But,
11:06do you also not think that,
11:07we are all very quick to label,
11:08all forms,
11:09any form of relationship,
11:10and we will give it the label of love?
11:11Like,
11:12I was watching this week,
11:13the episode I was seeing,
11:14when I was watching the other,
11:15when I was watching the other,
11:16and I was watching the other,
11:17I was watching the other.
11:18So,
11:19I think it's love for me.
11:20For you?
11:21Yeah.
11:22Who is playing Wali?
11:23Yeah.
11:24Who is playing Wali?
11:25Yeah.
11:26But,
11:27do you also not think that,
11:28we are all very quick to label,
11:30all forms,
11:31any form of relationship,
11:33and we will give it the label of love?
11:35Like,
11:36that week,
11:37that episode I was seeing,
11:39when Wali,
11:40Maya,
11:41says,
11:42that,
11:43I want to maintain my lifestyle.
11:45I want to maintain my lifestyle.
11:47Yeah.
11:48And the look that she gives to him,
11:50in that moment,
11:51in a very brief moment,
11:52I thought that,
11:53if they don't know both of them so well,
11:57then,
11:58is it true or not true?
12:01Because at the end of the day,
12:02these are two young kids.
12:04So,
12:05as somebody who is very young,
12:06in your generation,
12:07this is the impression of love,
12:09or love,
12:11which we see in films,
12:14and the depiction,
12:15is it the same,
12:16or has it evolved now?
12:17I don't know,
12:18how does the younger generation feel this?
12:21You know,
12:22you can't even know anyone,
12:23until you stay there.
12:25So,
12:26in Wali,
12:27in my case,
12:28I believe,
12:29that,
12:30that,
12:31that,
12:32that,
12:33that,
12:34that,
12:35that,
12:36that,
12:37that,
12:38that,
12:39that,
12:40that,
12:41that,
12:42that,
12:43that,
12:44that,
12:45that,
12:46that,
12:47that,
12:48that,
12:49that,
12:50when,
12:51that,
12:52that,
12:53you're not telling them of that,
12:54and he'd be like, okay, he's such a guy.
12:56So in my case, I would be like,
12:58let's go, okay,
12:59as much as I know the person,
13:02he likes me until here.
13:04And what kind of personality he will show me in his life,
13:09I'm ready to accept it.
13:11So I think for me, that would be love.
13:13And this is what Maya and Wally's case is like.
13:15They're saying, let's go,
13:17we're doing it now.
13:19Whatever he's in his life,
13:20we'll do it with others.
13:22So yeah, I think.
13:24That's it.
13:24In our show, Anna came,
13:25and he said that you and Anna are a great friend,
13:29because your mothers are friends,
13:31and they were together in college.
13:33So in the set of Maya,
13:34you were killed by the two of them,
13:36and then you were killed.
13:37Then he said that we are mature,
13:39so our scenes were also less.
13:41So let me define your point of view,
13:44that you and Anna are a great friend.
13:46And of course,
13:46MashaAllah,
13:47after Maya,
13:49it's getting so much praise,
13:52and you both have such a big fandom,
13:55which is such a big show.
13:56So how do you define,
13:58Vali and Maya,
13:59I've already told you,
14:00but how do you define Summer and Anna?
14:02As an actor,
14:04as a friend,
14:04I have huge respect for her.
14:06So yeah,
14:07because she's very young,
14:09and the kind of work she's doing right now,
14:11in this industry,
14:12there are many actors,
14:14who are not able to do this,
14:15and I can't do this,
14:16and she's working on it.
14:17I think the way she portrays her characters,
14:19she can be a teacher,
14:21and I think over the years,
14:25yes,
14:26I've also become a lot of introverts,
14:29so the way I'm talking about,
14:31or my other things,
14:33I can't do this anymore.
14:35And obviously,
14:37we had limited scenes,
14:39and limited days with each other,
14:40so that's also the way,
14:42that you're meeting someone for two years,
14:44so that you have to respect yourself.
14:48On the first set of Mayri,
14:49because we were like meeting each other every day,
14:52so that's also coming back to the beach.
14:54Okay.
14:55They're trying to take care of each other,
14:57they're talking about what they're talking about,
14:59and they're insulting to each other.
15:02So obviously, because we've grown,
15:04we say that no,
15:05we shouldn't have to do this anymore.
15:07I think that's a big factor.
15:09It's a good thing for friends,
15:11that you won't be able to meet them after years,
15:13but when you meet them,
15:14you're going to have a good time with them.
15:15It's not like that,
15:16the walls are gone.
15:17I think this is what my and Anna's case is like.
15:20So moving forward,
15:21now you both have decided,
15:22what do you have to do with another break?
15:23Now let's do the next two.
15:26Because even older actors do that,
15:27because their two projects get hit,
15:29and then there's a lot of pressure
15:30that they cast again,
15:31and then do the ads with them.
15:33Then they also say,
15:34just, hello,
15:35give us a little break.
15:37So why do you have to stay in this discussion,
15:39or have you thought about this or not?
15:41In two years, we've done two projects.
15:43And both are so popular.
15:45MashaAllah.
15:46And I think that's the third one,
15:47which is the second time I'll work with them.
15:49So I think that's the only thing I have to do with them.
15:52But this is a new thing I've witnessed in the past 5-6 years.
15:58There was a lot of pressure on actors.
16:01When actors are paired with certain actors,
16:05who love them,
16:07they say that our favourite actor
16:10can not do any other work with them.
16:12And if they do any other work with them,
16:14then that actor is the only thing you have to do with them.
16:15So this is what you're facing with fans.
16:17And your fans are cool about it.
16:19I think that I haven't done so much work with them.
16:22So let me just say,
16:23in the second film,
16:24Aashir was with me.
16:25You can't say Aashir to him.
16:26You can't say Aashir to him.
16:27Because he's a character.
16:29In the two dramas,
16:31what I was doing was that I didn't have a love angle.
16:33So I was doing it alone.
16:36So even if the love angle is shown with Aina,
16:40I think people are very comfortable
16:41that it's okay.
16:42First of all, I've seen it with him.
16:44And the other time, he's coming with him.
16:45So they're happy as it.
16:46I don't get anything to hear anything.
16:47Okay, in this episode,
16:49we saw that Aashir said that I don't care about it.
16:54If you're going to America,
16:55then go to America.
16:56I don't know.
16:57But then something changes
16:59and it's a shock.
17:01It's a shock.
17:04What happened?
17:06What triggered the thought?
17:07What happened?
17:08Why did he get to his father?
17:09It's a young blood.
17:10It's a young blood.
17:12It's a young blood.
17:13And we do some kind of things
17:15from our parents.
17:16We don't know that
17:17what's going on to impact him.
17:19When he talks about his father,
17:22when he talks about his conversation,
17:24he's talking to him.
17:25He notices the boss.
17:27Later he makes him realize that
17:29a person has grown up to him.
17:32He has given you a life.
17:34He has taught you.
17:35He has taught you everything.
17:36And today, you're talking to him.
17:38And you're telling him to live
17:39that he needs to live like this.
17:41I think that was the moment
17:42when Wali realized that
17:44I'm leaving his ego and self-respect
17:47that he's going to go back to his respect.
17:51And he's like,
17:52that anything will happen in the end,
17:53it's our relationship.
17:54He lives with his family.
17:56So that was the moment
17:58in which he realized,
17:59he's like,
17:59okay, I think I should keep my self-respect
18:01and ego aside and just go and meet him
18:03for once at least,
18:04just to see that
18:05that he's fine.
18:05One time he was able to meet.
18:06Kali, he was able to meet.
18:07He was able to meet.
18:07He wasn't able to meet at home.
18:09No, he was able to meet at home.
18:10He was able to meet at home.
18:11He was able to meet at home.
18:13He was able to meet at home.
18:15He wasn't able to meet at home.
18:16He was able to meet at home.
18:18He was able to meet at home.
18:19And you forgive me.
18:21I'll do it too.
18:22So you'll be able to meet at home.
18:23This was his intention.
18:25But his father was like,
18:26let's not do this.
18:28So yeah.
18:29Why was that snub necessary,
18:31you think, in the script?
18:33Because I'm thinking about this.
18:34When I watched the episode,
18:36I'm thinking,
18:37what was the purpose of the father's snub?
18:42Is that Vali completely broke?
18:44You don't have to forget it.
18:45In my opinion,
18:46you haven't thought it.
18:47Or is it the answer?
18:48No, it's the answer.
18:50But I can't reveal much about the project.
18:52I need to know that episode.
18:54There are a lot of things.
18:55So that's what it means?
18:56We'll know everything.
18:57What's happening?
18:59He'll find out everything.
19:03What has the general feedback been for Parvish
19:05that you've personally received?
19:07I think what I've received personally,
19:09which I loved,
19:10usually,
19:11it's the only thing that
19:12you don't preach any content.
19:14Parvish,
19:15what we've achieved as actors,
19:17as content creators,
19:21or those who were involved in this,
19:23is that we've understood some of the things
19:25in a very subtle way.
19:27Like, I met a family
19:29and they told me some things,
19:30obviously,
19:31it was their personal theme,
19:32but I couldn't tell them here.
19:34They were so happy that
19:35that drama is such a big media
19:37that people look up to
19:39and when they're watching,
19:40they're so happy that
19:42they're so happy that there's something.
19:44Because we're telling about parenting
19:47and how parents basically
19:49take decisions
19:49which can ruin their child's life,
19:53so they've told me some things,
19:54and they've told me
19:55that after seeing them,
19:57we've taken a decision
19:58that it's okay,
19:58what you have to do,
20:00you do it.
20:01If there's no work in it,
20:02then there will be no peace.
20:04Because they thought,
20:05that our children
20:05are against their minds.
20:07So obviously,
20:08I won't say the biggest investment,
20:12but
20:13the biggest gift of Allah
20:16is a child.
20:17Yeah.
20:17So when they go away from them,
20:19they try to do it,
20:21and they don't have it.
20:22So I think,
20:23that the message that we wanted to deliver,
20:28has happened.
20:29And it's happening.
20:31And I'm glad people are liking it,
20:32and enjoying it.
20:33Since they're liking it so much,
20:35and obviously,
20:36it's a trickle-down effect.
20:38It's also coming to you.
20:40Tell me, Summer,
20:41at such a young age,
20:42mashallah,
20:43when you get so much popularity,
20:46and then obviously,
20:47the medium is such that
20:48you also end up making
20:50a lot of money as well.
20:51Mashallah.
20:53How does one deal with it
20:55at such a young age?
20:58Have you reached that level,
21:00space where you're realizing,
21:01that okay,
21:03mashallah,
21:03you know,
21:04I'm making money,
21:05I'm popular,
21:06I'm only what,
21:0721?
21:08Yeah.
21:10What is that thought process like?
21:12I think,
21:13that whatever you have to do,
21:15is the benefit of someone.
21:17I'm probably going to be a part,
21:19if we talk about money.
21:21So,
21:22I want to thank God,
21:23as much as I have given you,
21:24I want to thank God.
21:26But I think,
21:27if I have 50 money,
21:29then 30-35 money is something else.
21:33Okay.
21:33People tell me that
21:36it's something that's something
21:37that's something that's necessary.
21:38Yes.
21:38So,
21:39that means that
21:40there are some paths that are made.
21:42So,
21:43that's something that's happening.
21:44So,
21:44I don't think,
21:45I'm earning money.
21:46I think,
21:47I don't think that
21:48I'm earning money.
21:49I don't think that's something that's going to happen.
21:51I got it.
21:52You're 21 or 51?
21:54I don't understand.
21:56You said that I'm 72.
21:57I don't think that.
21:5851 is also a little less.
22:00I'm looking forward to the thought process.
22:03Where is all this maturity coming from, dude?
22:05You're only 21.
22:07I do have conversations with my Abba.
22:10So,
22:11our Abba has also kept this relationship
22:13in our home.
22:14That,
22:15I mean,
22:16the good thing is,
22:18I think that
22:18you also have some things.
22:20I think that
22:21the love,
22:21love,
22:22and the message
22:23you're getting.
22:24That's why I get it.
22:25Because you give it out to the universe.
22:27So,
22:27when you give it,
22:28you multiply it and you get it.
22:30You've also interviewed us.
22:32Now, we're talking about the summer.
22:33Both of us on the bus.
22:35Both of us are so mature,
22:36so sensible.
22:37I was listening to
22:39when we were growing up,
22:41that our future is in strong hands.
22:44So, our generation
22:45has been very disappointed.
22:46We have great hope of you.
22:49Masha'Allah,
22:50it's so refreshing
22:51that at such a young age,
22:52you guys have such a clear
22:54thought process.
22:55It's wonderful.
22:57What do I ask you to ask?
22:58You become a saint.
23:00Sorry.
23:01You become a saint.
23:04You're giving it to a drink.
23:06You're taking a drink.
23:08You're giving it to a young age.
23:09You're giving it to a young age.
23:10When you create music,
23:13what do you think about it?
23:16What do you think about the topic?
23:18What do I have to write about it?
23:19So,
23:20you go back
23:22in your experiences
23:23and maybe,
23:24when someone has talked to you,
23:26you have to make the experience
23:27and make the story of it.
23:28When I write music
23:31or whatever I try to make,
23:34I make sure that
23:35I will write something about
23:36some experience.
23:40It's like the experiences.
23:41It was more about myself
23:43and my experiences
23:44that I have had in the past.
23:46So,
23:47I came up with this idea
23:49that why not
23:49something will be made
23:50or something will be written
23:52in which a person
23:54has come from everything
23:55and they ask people
23:57and they don't even know
23:59about what I'm going through
24:00and what I'm going through.
24:02In the end,
24:03it's like the doors are closed.
24:05Then they come here
24:06and they say that
24:07it's time for God to ask them.
24:09It's like that
24:11we are so hungry in the world.
24:13We don't ask a creator
24:14for whatever we need.
24:15Maybe we look out for others.
24:17He will give me work
24:19or he will give me money
24:20or he will give me
24:21to the other person.
24:23But all those things
24:24are the ones that are going to be
24:25and we forget that in between.
24:27So,
24:28this was exactly how
24:29Gazar-ish came in my head.
24:31Why would I write a song on this kind of story?
24:33What was the experience of that?
24:35I was the experience of that.
24:37that
24:39you can write a song
24:41that you knew that
24:42someone made a song for the first time.
24:44I said, okay.
24:45So, I wrote it with a non-serious attitude.
24:49And when it came out,
24:51people
24:52you know,
24:53it's my favourite song.
24:56I mean,
24:57it's a good thing.
24:58But it's not mine.
25:00Yes, I've seen it.
25:01You talked about it in another interview.
25:03You said that I don't have any favourite.
25:05And I think people expect you to say
25:07that, why aren't you talking about me?
25:09I think that's probably because
25:11when you think that
25:12I haven't used my potential
25:13in the whole system,
25:15so that's not good for me.
25:17What do you identify with more?
25:18Music or acting?
25:20Music.
25:21I think because it's,
25:22like I said,
25:23I recall my past experiences.
25:24So, I'm telling what I've experienced
25:26or what I would want to do in life.
25:28So, I'm writing about myself.
25:30I'm talking about myself.
25:31Acting is like,
25:32you're playing a character
25:33which is written by someone else
25:34and you're
25:35that you're getting into it.
25:37So, you're thinking like a different person.
25:39In music,
25:40I'm expressing myself.
25:41Being an introvert who is,
25:43you know,
25:44not really expressed his self.
25:46So, let's say,
25:47five years down the line.
25:49Yeah.
25:49Somehow,
25:51as a musician,
25:52as an actor,
25:53as an actor,
25:54as a musician,
25:55who's also an actor,
25:56as an actor.
25:57This is a thought.
25:59And people are more than happy
26:00that they are a good artist.
26:03Wow.
26:04So, it will be more of a pushy.
26:06And one thing I observed about artists,
26:09is that they're not good in only one of the art.
26:12You're good in music.
26:14You're good in acting.
26:15I'm pretty sure there are 2-3 other things
26:17in which you'll be good.
26:19There are such things.
26:20I'm good in song writing.
26:21I'm good in composing.
26:23And...
26:26I think it's easy.
26:27Do you also paint and stuff?
26:28No, I don't paint.
26:29You're not into art or anything?
26:30No, no, no.
26:31I mean, I'm very...
26:32I get fascinated by people who paint.
26:35Okay, I'm very happy
26:35when people paint.
26:37My wife paints.
26:38So, when they make things,
26:39I'm very shocked to see
26:40how they've been made.
26:42I get fascinated by that.
26:43So, I love art.
26:44Young girls who want to come to this field,
26:46who want to become an actor,
26:47they know what they're doing.
26:48So, what kind of roles are they?
26:50My point is, just be good.
26:51People don't want to listen to no.
26:56So, if you say no,
26:58then they think that...
26:59They get hurt.
27:00They get hurt.
27:01They get hurt.
27:02And they blame us that
27:04they don't want to say anything.
27:06So, I think there should be a little understanding
27:09of what I want to say.
27:11So, what do I want to say in future projects, Samar?
27:13I am looking into scripts right now.
27:17I won't say that I have said yes to anyone.
27:20But I'm exploring because it's such a good topic.
27:24We've made a drama on that.
27:25I think that at least,
27:27it should be something that we're delivering at the end.
27:30So, what kind of characters are you offering?
27:33I have been offering to you now.
27:35I have been offering to you now.
27:39Are you coming from Toxic Boys?
27:41Yes.
27:41Who are killing the dogs,
27:42who are blaming the dogs on the baby?
27:44That's the first thing.
27:45That's it.
27:46That's it?
27:46That's it.
27:47That's it.
27:48That's it.
27:49That's it.
27:50That's it.
27:51That's it.
27:52That's it.
27:53We'll make this.
27:54Number two.
27:55The character was the same.
27:57He was the same age.
27:58That's it.
27:59He was not the same age.
28:01How did you look at that age?
28:02How did you get to that age?
28:04He was not the same.
28:06It was that he was the same.
28:07He was the same.
28:09He had one year.
28:10Now you're doing the wedding?
28:12You're doing the wedding?
28:14No, you're not doing the wedding.
28:15You're not doing the wedding.
28:17You're not in two phases.
28:19You're doing the next six months.
28:20You're giving a project.
28:22Then you will play on the other and on the other side.
28:24Then you will have a script for them.
28:26One side is the house and the other side is the outside.
28:28That will also come to you.
28:29Now that will not come.
28:30We will not be able to study.
28:33This is a big conversation with all our guests and actors.
28:37Obviously, you feel restrained.
28:39That is our drama.
28:40We are looking forward to it.
28:41Parvarish is a drama once in a blue moon.
28:44And I am so glad and thanks to the audience
28:46that they have made it so successfully.
28:49I hope more producers and even more channels
28:52will look into it and say,
28:53yeah, okay, let's do something like this.
28:56But otherwise, we are looking at it.
28:58In our dramas, there are the only men,
29:00the only boys, there are the only issues of the boys,
29:03there are the only things.
29:04So as an artist, when you see those scripts,
29:07what is your reaction?
29:08What excites you?
29:09I know who is the director.
29:11I will first watch that.
29:13Because again,
29:16there are many things in the set.
29:18In Parvarish, Kiran was coming to our set.
29:22And we were asking a lot of questions.
29:24Kiran is the writer of Parvarish.
29:27And then,
29:28it's also happened that
29:30Mary, Meesam and Kiran
29:31we had a lot of discussion on the three of them.
29:34What should happen in the character?
29:36If we can do this in the character,
29:38then what is the child of today's character?
29:41What is the way he operates?
29:42Tell him.
29:43So Kiran had the same things to him.
29:45So like I said,
29:46it depends on the writer and the director.
29:48We are the captain of the ship.
29:49Our director is the captain of the ship.
29:51So if the captain is strong,
29:53then the story will end up there.
29:56Then you say,
29:57the script is the same thing.
29:58I know that my director will be fine at the end.
30:01So I think what excites me as an actor,
30:04I think the script is that I am a director.
30:06Okay,
30:06this is Parvarish's concept.
30:09That's by Fahad Mustafa.
30:11So is there any discussion with Fahad
30:13about Parvarish and his director?
30:16Are they coming to your set?
30:17Fahad, I couldn't meet with him
30:20because when he came,
30:20then I left quickly.
30:23I think he has always been involved
30:25in the creative process,
30:26from the beginning of the day,
30:27in every drama.
30:28But I think this is the first time
30:29he has taken the credit
30:30that he has made a concept
30:32that he has made a concept.
30:33But most of the settings
30:34were with the director and the writer,
30:36Kiran Nahar, Meesam.
30:37So those of our conversations
30:39were the ones that were talking about,
30:40I didn't have to be directly with Fahad.
30:43But if I am saying or doing something,
30:48then obviously in the end,
30:49we will be doing this in the end.
30:52Did someone get feedback with Fahad?
30:54Yes, you once left me a text on Instagram.
30:58So he said,
30:59listen to me.
31:01I said,
31:02I'm proud of you.
31:03Love you.
31:04I said, I love you more.
31:05Yeah, that was very sweet of him.
31:09Cute.
31:09That's typical Fahad, Mustafa.
31:11Samar, we're so glad
31:13you were part of Parvarish.
31:15And I feel proud of you
31:17because we met a year ago
31:19when you were making a film.
31:20And that's when I was so happy
31:22that you performed so well
31:24in your film also.
31:25And now, mashallah,
31:27this is the third project
31:28that you made such a wonderful mark.
31:30It's always so heartening
31:32to see young artists come forward
31:34and on the screens
31:35and on the platform.
31:37I wish you all the very best.
31:39But first of all,
31:40if you want to give a message
31:41to your fans,
31:42who are the biggest fans of your fans,
31:44and you believe that the most requests
31:46are made to you,
31:47to call Samar and talk to Samar.
31:50So what do you want to say to those fans?
31:52The fans will just say that
31:56whoever you are doing,
31:57whoever you are doing,
31:58whoever you are doing,
31:59whoever you are doing,
32:00whoever you are doing,
32:01and I hope I keep doing good.
32:04And
32:06whenever you get it,
32:08I wish you all the very best.
32:11God give you a lot of happiness.
32:12God give you a lot of happiness.
32:13And you emit so much positive energy.
32:18I hope that you are like
32:19other people who are positive.
32:21My friends,
32:22it's not our show.
32:25It's time to come back to a very small break.
32:28When we return to the break,
32:29as I have told you,
32:31we will be able to tell you about your questions
32:33and your answers to all your questions.
32:36You don't have to go.
32:37I'm going to say the summer.
32:39I will meet you after a small break.
32:42Welcome back.
32:43My whole hope is that
32:45you will be able to get my summer with me.
32:47And while we wait excitedly
32:49for the next episode of Purverish
32:51to find out
32:52that
32:52what will be going on
32:53what will happen to you
32:54and what will happen to you
32:55and what will happen to you
32:55and what will happen to you.
32:56And you will be able to do that.
32:57We are getting started by Park Launch.
33:01So today we have to give a shout out to the founder of Park Launch.
33:04That he will come and answer your questions.
33:08We are coming from the Park Launch.
33:11Ali Fahad.
33:13Asalaamu alaykum.
33:14Ali bhaji, how are you?
33:15Thank you very much. Please sit.
33:20Ali bhaji, first of all, tell us about what is the Bazaar.
33:23We are seeing promotion, maşallah, A.R.Y. on.
33:26So what kind of reality show is and what kind of people should it be?
33:30Bazaar is an entrepreneurship pitching show.
33:34In which small business owners or tech startup founders can apply.
33:39And they will come on the show.
33:41They will go through three months of mentoring from top entrepreneurs or investors.
33:46And after that they will get an opportunity to raise funding from two different vehicles.
33:51One is that they will pitch to the judges and the gurus that we are calling them.
33:56And they will be able to raise from them.
33:57They are some of the top business owners and mentors that you can find.
34:02And then the second one is that Park Launch and A.R.Y. are doing their own fund raise to invest as a follow on investment in those entrepreneurs.
34:11So any small business owner or tech startup founder can apply.
34:16Okay.
34:17We have seen other shows in different places.
34:21And then the other people who have found their business ideas.
34:26And they will be able to raise their business ideas.
34:29Or they will be able to raise their business ideas.
34:30Or they will be able to raise their funding to their own.
34:33Or we have heard it that the people who come to the business owners,
34:38They will also make some mis-commitment.
34:40They will also make some of the participants and they will not provide their right details.
34:44So how do you address all these concerns?
34:47Yes, I think there are three different questions.
34:50First of all, when we start-ups apply to start-ups,
34:53we will go through the three months of mentoring process through top mentors.
34:58There is Ali Khan Tareen from AKT and Multan Sultan.
35:03Aasar Malik, who also has a $200 million fund announced.
35:07They are Essence Sian, Dharaz's CEO.
35:09So these are some of our mentors.
35:11So the entrepreneurs and founders will go through the three months of mentoring.
35:18And in parallel, we will be doing their due diligence.
35:22So we will verify all their documents so that they will not have a problem for the investors.
35:28To ensure that investors put money in the investors,
35:31we are talking about them putting the money that they are committing in a separate account.
35:35So if we have five judges, we are talking about $300,000 to $500,000,
35:40which they will put in a separate account before they come on the show.
35:44Okay, you have taken money first.
35:47So ensure that the money gets to the start-ups.
35:49But also, you mentioned that Park Launch and ARY is their own fund.
35:54That is the follow-on investment.
35:56So one is that when they pitch to entrepreneurs, they can raise money through the gurus.
36:02In the second stage, if the team of ARY and Park Launch, which is Salman Iqbal, Jay Jay,
36:08Taimur Malik, my partner and myself and few others, our team investment committee will decide
36:14how much we want to invest.
36:16So this means that the participants will not be able to get money in the bazaar.
36:20There is no problem that they will not get money in the bazaar.
36:23Yes, yes, yes.
36:24This is something obviously very interesting.
36:26What else sets bazaar apart from the other kinds of similar reality shows that we have seen?
36:32I think one thing is that Park Launch has been doing this thing for five and a half years.
36:39We have 4,000,000 followers. We have raised $120,000,000,000.
36:44In our team, there are three unicorn founders.
36:47So Raghav Hussain, who has bought a $7 billion company.
36:51We have some of the biggest investors and entrepreneurs who are part of Park Launch.
36:56So we have done it before. I think that sets us apart.
36:59Secondly, I think that our format about the mentoring is not in any other show.
37:06Secondly, about ensuring that the investment gets to the start-ups.
37:10We are creating a separate account and we have a follow-on investment.
37:14That also does not exist. And then obviously the exposure of ARY.
37:17If a start-up applies, if it goes through our mentoring and doesn't raise money,
37:23then they get mentoring for three months.
37:24And that ARY can get 70,000,000 plus viewers, you know,
37:27they can get access to, which can be incredible for any small businesses.
37:31And this mentorship program,
37:33you can explain it in detail in detail that it will be exactly what they will learn.
37:39So we will do it that, you know,
37:41we are sector agnostic.
37:43So any person who is applying, they can be across any sector.
37:46So our judges are coming from sports management.
37:50Asar Malik Sahib has started the cricket league and their team managed to all the way to
37:55Agri Tech from Ali Khan Tarin to, you know, E-commerce,
37:59Essence and stuff. So when the start-ups are applying, we will map out their mentors
38:04for three months. What we are asking mentors is a commitment of two hours a week for 12 weeks.
38:12So every two hours of mentoring and advising will provide for the start-ups
38:18and keep them, you know, and they can spend more time than two hours also, right?
38:22So the start-ups will learn that we have to do our idea, how to pitch, how to present,
38:27what is due diligence, what is documentation, what is all in this process.
38:31And also scaling the business. So our goal is that one is,
38:34if, you know, through the mentors,
38:36if start-ups are able to raise money,
38:39they can even include some of these mentors on their cap table.
38:43So we are coming up not to complicate it, but there are processes around it to ensure long-term
38:48success that we can connect them back with our mentors, start-ups,
38:51how we can connect them back even after, you know, they have raised money.
38:55Okay. So until now, registrations are open.
38:59More start-ups can register themselves.
39:01You were telling me off-camera how many of your applications have already come?
39:05We have 8000 people in our network. So obviously we are targeting, we want to make sure
39:11that some of the very best start-ups apply.
39:13We have a lot of people who have applied in our network and we are still like open.
39:21Our 20th July is the last day.
39:2320th July is the last day.
39:23So if you are a small business or tech start-ups, you should apply.
39:30It can be at any stage. Our focus obviously is more than early stage.
39:34But if you are raising 5 crore, 10 crore or more, we can also help you with that.
39:41So we are looking at all stages, more focus towards early stage or sector agnostic.
39:48So apply before 20th July or if you know other people and friends who might be interested
39:53or who could benefit, encourage them as well. I think it's an opportunity of a lifetime.
39:58It's amazing. I think Ali Bhai has cleared the whole thing.
40:01You have the registration for the 20th July of Bazaar.
40:05What is the format of Bazaar? That's what Ali Bhai has told you.
40:08We have also told you about the mentorship program.
40:11Again, I think there is a lot of motivation for participants that they will get to learn a lot.
40:17And as you said, funding is one thing. But you have to take your ideas and understand your ideas
40:23and then you have to get to the idea of 70 million people to reach people.
40:27That in itself is going to be an achievement. Thank you so much, Ali Bhai, for your time.
40:30And inshallah, we will try to do that again.
40:33And the rest of the discussion will be done.
40:36On that note, on that note, we will be here on this episode.
40:40We will be here on this episode.
40:42In the meantime, we will be here on this episode.
40:44We will be here on this episode.
