00:23The violence erupted on March 17 after rumors spread that a sheet bearing a Quranic verse

00:28was burned during a Vishwa Hindu Parishad, VHP, protest demanding the removal of Aurangzeb's

00:35tomb in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.

00:39The demonstration escalated into widespread stone pelting and arson.

00:44Nagpur Police Commissioner Ravindra Kumar Singhal confirmed the arrests and said the

00:49decision to fully lift the curfew would be reviewed in a high-level meeting.

00:59We have taken action against those who have tried to break the rules.

01:29In a significant development, authorities have charged the primary accused, Fahim Khan, with treason.

01:36Separately, a Nagpur court remanded 17 arrested individuals to police custody until Saturday,

01:43citing the seriousness of the offences and strong evidence against them.
