00:00It's becoming a pattern now. Rather than spend hours debating with Hungary, which is against

00:05military support from the EU going to Ukraine, the leaders of the European Union member states

00:11on Thursday just decided to publish a statement without the signature of Hungarian Prime Minister

00:17Viktor Orban, recommitting the European Union to military aid to Ukraine and also supporting

00:22this new idea between Washington and Kiev of a 30-day unconditional ceasefire. But this main

00:28summit was meant to be about economics more than anything else and to that end the EU President

00:34Antonio Costa said that there were three main conclusions that everyone agreed on. They were

00:39to reduce red tape and bureaucracy by 25 percent, to decrease energy costs for businesses in order

00:46to try to increase European productivity and also to try and mobilize the 1.4 trillion euros of

00:55private savings sitting in people's bank accounts for investment, getting private citizens and

01:01removing barriers that private citizens face to investing that money instead in European

01:07businesses. All an attempt to boost growth with the European Council saying it's all linked with

01:12more money in the EU, more spending can go to Ukraine and that will help improve European security.
