The ministry said it will launch a pilot project for multi-storey schools in Putrajaya,

Penang and Kuala Lumpur this year to tackle the overcrowding issue.

It said the initiative was discussed during the meeting to reduce congestion,

optimize resources and improve education accessibility.

The ministry also said it will introduce technical and vocational education

and training programs in five fully residential schools,

as such programs have a 99% employability rate for graduates.

The ministry said enrolment for STEM or science, technology, engineering and mathematics
