00:00In Panama, members of the People United for Life Alliance marched this Tuesday to demand

00:05the repeal of the recently-approved Bill 163 on the Social Security Fund.

00:10The demonstrations will take place at 4pm local time and will go to the National Assembly

00:15to reject the government's project.

00:18Likewise, during March 19th and 20th, leafleting, picketing and partial road closures will take

00:24place throughout the country as a measure to pressure against the Executive and Parliament.

00:30In this sense, several social movements denounce that with the new law, the government intends

00:35to steal the resources of the Social Security Fund and hand them over to the banks and private

00:41pensions administration companies.
