01:18In Venezuela, President Nicolás Maduro denounced the fascist and Nazi measures of the United

01:22States and demanded the release of migrants kidnapped in concentration camps in El Salvador.

01:27The Venezuelan head of state rejected the criminal actions against Venezuelan migrants

01:31in the United States promoted by the fascist extreme right wing.

01:35Maduro asserted that all efforts are being made to rescue those who have been kidnapped

01:39by the Nazi government of the United States and who have created these concentration camps

01:43to violate their human rights in El Salvador.

01:46In this context, the president demanded that the government of Nayib Bukele cease the cruelty

01:50and injustice against Venezuelan migrants.

01:59It cannot be that a person for being Venezuelan is captured, kidnapped without the right to

02:05defense, without the right to due process, without conviction, a Venezuelan is sent to

02:12a concentration camp in the United States and has been sent to Nazi concentration camps.

03:11Treaty, expresses its most energetic rejection and condemnation of the U.S. government's

03:16decision to invoke the Alien Enemy Act of 1798, a norm that has only been used in war

03:23contexts and is now being used arbitrarily to justify systematic persecution against

03:27the Venezuelan migrant community.

03:29Further on, they add, even more alarming is the use of third countries as extrajudicial

03:34detention centers in a practice that represents a crime against humanity.

03:38The organization also explained that in view of this grave situation, Albatizep urges the

03:43international community to take a firm stand against this policy of aggression and reiterates

03:48its unwavering support for the people and government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.

04:00And the president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, led the solemn act from the National Pantheon

04:04where they recognized the invaluable contributions of Dr. Humberto Fernández Morán.

04:09During the ceremony, the Venezuelan president stressed the importance of vindicating the

04:12life and work of Dr. Fernández Morán by encouraging the new generations of the country

04:17to learn about the work of the scientists as part of the reaffirmation of the Venezuelan

04:22identity.

04:23He also pointed out that Dr. Humberto Fernández Morán left an indelible mark on Venezuelan

04:28and world science thanks to his invaluable contribution to the development of the electron

04:33microscope.

04:34He highlighted that Dr. Fernández Morán is one of the greatest examples of human potential

04:38taken to its maximum expression.

04:48When you see in your homes, in your schools, in your universities, yesterday, in your communities,

04:56the life of this man, Humberto Fernández Morán, you will be able to give meaning to

05:02my words that in Humberto Fernández Morán, we have one of the most immense and gigantic

05:10examples of human potential taken to its maximum expression based on ethics, morals, human

05:18conviction and Bolivarianism.

05:21He was a man of deep convictions.

05:29He lived more than half of his life outside the country, and he was an exemplary Venezuelan.

05:43having lived so long out of the country for different circumstances, desires of study

07:29The fourth edition of the International Patria Colloquium has kicked off in Havana, an event

07:35that gathers journalists, influencers and the collective experience from media outlets

07:39from across the global south to think about present challenges in digital communication.

07:45This edition also celebrates Celestor's 20th anniversary as the news platform Ambition

07:50by Chávez and Fidel reviews its milestones in two decades of journalism thought from

07:55a people's perspective.

07:56We have to make a profound reflection and stop thinking of ourselves as competitors,

08:06but also as collaborators and decisively and consciously work on common agendas.

08:14To work in ideological exercises about what is important for the landless workers movement

08:21in Brazil that I see them here.

08:25That their struggle agenda be also important for the community newspaper of Jujuy in Argentina,

08:32for a Chinese newspaper in Beijing and of course for a multi-platform such as Telesur.

08:42Among the main topics of discussion at this edition of the Patria Colloquium is the building

08:46of sovereign digital platforms and technologies that allow critical and anti-capitalist thought

08:52to be fostered and shared.

08:54That is to say, to imagine a technological future in which digital discourse is not dependent

08:59on capitalist platforms.

09:01We need to create our own political horizon, technological horizon that we have to challenge

09:08this idea that this way of doing politics is the only way and the only ones that could

09:16think about the future is the technocapital or the big corporations.

09:20I think we can do that and we have to do it quite fast.

09:25In CMG we have developed many good technologies and so we would like to take this Patria as

09:35a platform and we would like to share our technology with all the other countries and

09:41we would like to make the improvement together.

09:45From Palestine to Africa and South America, for the participants of this event, the discussion

09:50goes beyond viral trends and news coverages.

09:53Coming together in Havana is the possibility to coordinate collaborative efforts to rethink

09:58the global scene by looking at the world from the perspective of the popular movements of

10:03our territories.

10:04In a way, the movements are the source and the point is to look into those movements,

10:09who is saying the interesting things, who is thinking beyond the immediate problem and

10:14trying to generalize and find a way forward and then to try to create a kind of global

10:20left culture out of that, have those people talking to each other, sharing experiences

10:24and so on.

10:25We are people's weaving networks.

10:27Those are the words that accompany this edition of Patria.

10:31And it is in those connections, the sharing of common experiences and agendas, that lays

10:36the true power of the future of digital communication.

10:51The current President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced that there are approximately

10:5480,000 pages on the killing of the 35th President of the North American country.

11:00In late January, President Trump signed an order to declassify files on the 1960s murders

11:05of Robert F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.

12:56and Oklahoma officials say at least four people have died.

12:59In addition, the City Department of Emergency Management said Sunday night

13:02that more than 400 homes were damaged statewide.

13:06As Oklahomans assess the devastation to their homes and property,

13:09officials warn of an increased risk of fire danger in the coming week.

13:50Israel has ended the ceasefire in Gaza and has so far killed 412 people.

13:55Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Tuesday

13:58that he has instructed the army to resume attacks on Gaza.

14:01He claimed that this decision was due to the fact that the resistance movement Hamas

14:05has repeatedly refused to release Israeli detainees.

14:08The Gaza Civil Defense Agency announced that a series of Israeli attacks

14:11consisting of aerial bombardment and artillery fire have injured 562 people.

14:20One of the massacres perpetrated by the Israeli regime

14:31came after bombing hundreds of displaced people's tents in al-Mawassi, west of Hanounis.

14:36The attacks followed a deepening humanitarian crisis in Gaza,

14:39where Israel has blocked the entry of all aid and goods for more than two weeks.

14:44Since the beginning of their genocidal campaign in October 2023,

14:47the occupation forces killed more than 48,572 citizens,

14:52most of them children and women, and injured more than 112,000 people.

15:05In the United States, the White House confirmed

15:07that it was notified in advance of Israel's latest attack on the Gaza Strip.

15:11The administration of U.S. President Donald Trump said

15:13that the regime of Benjamin Netanyahu consulted with the White House

15:16about the attacks that occurred between the night of March 17th and the early hours of March 18th.

15:21Earlier, President Trump sent a threatening message to Hamas and its allies

17:29the targeting was the third in the past 48 hours,

17:32and the enemy was struck by a state of confusion,

17:35which prompted many of its warships to retreat.

17:38The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that they will not cease targeting all hostile targets

17:42in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea until the aggression against their country stops.
