Scott Parker on James Trafford England call

Scott Parker feels that James Trafford deserves his call up to the England squad after an impressive season for the Clarets.

00:00Fully deserved, yeah, fully deserved, extremely proud.

00:03I'm sure his family, I'm sure Trav's proud and I'm proud as his coach, to be quite honest with you,

00:07because no denying that last year was tough for Trav,

00:11and I think certainly early on when I first stepped into this role,

00:15I could see that and there were some tough moments.

00:20Fair play to him, he's, during adversity and the slight disappointment,

00:27he's shown some real character, some real maturity,

00:30and the scary thing is that I still think there's more to come from Trav,

00:33and that's pretty scary to say because he's been pretty immense for us.

00:37So, fully deserved, I'm pleased for him,

00:40I hope he goes there now and shows his quality, which I know he will,

00:42confident boy, and hopefully he comes back fit and well.
