00:00Well, I got I got one more question for you. So you turned pro in 2008. Yeah, is that about right?

00:06What would you tell yourself?

00:1023 year old self now knowing what you've experienced over the last

00:15You have 20 years of being a professional

00:23Well, what advice would you give 23 year old Webb Simpson

00:26I think I look at the best players in the world and

00:31You've seen them every week like they have an incredible team around them

00:36My first couple years were okay at best

00:39But then I started getting people in my corner who were experts whether it's a trainer a caddy

00:45Swing instructor and I really established my team. And so if I could do it over again

00:51I mean it took me a couple of years. I would have just started day one

00:55Treating myself like CEO of my company and invest I'm gonna invest in my company

01:00I know it's a lot of money, but I tell these young guys

01:02Some guys don't have a choice like they don't have the money to be able to do that yet

01:06But the guys who do who get on tour us I just try to tell them look you want to be a top 20 play

01:12In the world, it's gonna cost you money time resources to get there

01:16But do it like there's nobody in the top 10 in the world that hasn't invested

01:22Tons and tons of money into their their craft and their company

01:27and so

01:29Yeah, once I did that ie Paul Tesori

01:332011 I had my best year ever by far on the PGA Tour up until that point

01:38and so

01:40You just can't be a top player in this game without having a great team around you

01:46And you know you see it

01:49In every player that's a top player and so that's what I'll probably do different. Well, that's great advice and
