00:00The National Amnesty Commission, or NAC, has received over 2,000 applications from former rebels,

00:06mainly from the CPP and PA in Mindanao, as well as the MILF and MNLF.

00:12The NAC is reviewing these applications to recommend amnesty to President Marcos.

00:17They aim to increase the number of applicants by opening more boards in Luzon

00:22and encourage submissions before the March 2026 deadline.

00:28Today, NAC celebrated the first anniversary of Presidential Proclamation No. 404,

00:34which supports granting amnesty to former rebels.

00:38We are reviewing about 89, 69 recommendations

00:44coming from the different local amnesty boards.

00:46So in due time, we will start making it to the office of the President.
