00:00Hello there, good evening. You might want to leave a few minutes in the morning to scrape

00:04off your car, particularly across parts of the south and southeast. That's where we're

00:08going to see the clearest of skies overnight, so temperatures soon dipping away, seeing

00:12quite a sharp frost develop through the early hours of the morning, perhaps even some icy

00:16patches where we see any wet surfaces. Away from this, though, a bit more cloud around,

00:21a few showers too, feeding in from North Sea coast, these likely bringing some sleet and

00:26snow mainly across hills, the Scottish Highlands, the Pennines, perhaps even parts of Wales

00:31could see some snow to higher ground. A chance of some flurries to lower levels, but nothing

00:35too impactful. But for all, it is going to be a cold start to Friday. Through the course

00:41of the morning, we'll see any mist and fog largely dissipate through the morning and

00:45any frost across the south, largely easing away. And it should brighten up through the

00:49morning, though we can't rule out some showers. Once again, these moving into North Sea coast,

00:54a chance of some heavier showers and once again, bringing some snow to the hills too.

00:58But plenty of sunny spells in between these showers and lighter winds. So where you catch

01:02the sunnier breaks, it should feel rather pleasant for the time of year. But high is

01:06only reaching around eight to nine Celsius, so still a touch below for the time of year.

01:12Into the evening, it's going to be another cold night ahead. Once again, seeing quite

01:16a sharp frost this time, though a bit of a flip, seeing the clearest skies across northern

01:20areas. So this is where we're likely to see the bulk of the frost across Northern Ireland,

01:24parts of Scotland, northern parts of England and Wales, too. We could see the odd clearer

01:29spells across parts of the south. So once again, seeing a cold and frosty start here,

01:34but mostly not going to be quite as frosty as it is compared to tomorrow morning. Still

01:38a few showers feeding into eastern areas, but mostly we have high pressure building

01:43for the beginning of Saturday. So there's going to be lots of dry weather around, likely

01:47seeing some sunshine in the morning. But as we head through into the afternoon, likely

01:51to see a few more cloudier skies, but still some sunny breaks at times, particularly across

01:55parts of East Anglia, Sussex and Kent during the afternoon. Now, temperatures fairly similar

02:00highs around nine to ten Celsius, so perhaps a degree or two up compared to the end of

02:06the week. But it is still going to be feeling fairly chilly. This area of high pressure

02:10sticks around through much of the weekend, but we still remain in that colder pool of

02:14air on Sunday. So it's still going to be feeling a little bit chilly and still a chance

02:18of some overnight frost. But as we head into the new week, that area of high pressure slipping

02:23its way eastwards and we start to see a change of our wind direction. So rather than a northerly

02:27sun, seeing something a bit more southerly, perhaps even southeasterly for a time. So

02:30that will eventually bring in some milder air as we head into next week. But possibly

02:34with this, it could also mean some more cloud and maybe even some rain. Bye bye.
